  Terrible customer service, they lost a customer for sure. Waited a long time for a manager to price adjust clearance items. When the manager got there she was walked off in mine and my daughters face. Not how you treat people. Zero stars

  One of my favorite spots. One of the few store that still supports shooting sports in our area. Has all of your sports needs covered. Order online and pickup in store makes it very convenient.

  Called on a Saturday to confirm if they could do a PPT for Sunday. They checked with the gun department and confirmed manager will be onsite and they would do it for Sunday. The buyer and myself drove an hour each to the Brentwood SW only to be told by the lady at the front they are not doing transfers. I explained to her that I called the day prior and was told there would be no issues. So I asked to speak to the manager in the hunting department named Taylor and explained to him the situation. He said corporate told him no ppt on the weekends. I advised him it was his employee that said there would be no issues. Fairfield SW does transfer on the weekends but they couldn't do it on Sunday because the manager was off hence why I called to confirmed the Brentwood location. In the end Taylor did not address my concern. No apologies for the mishap on their end and showed no concern for our troubles. What a major inconvenience, I plan to call corporate and confirm if what Taylor said was really true. All Sportsmen's Warehouse should follow the same policy. Luckily Turners in Pittsburg are open 7 days a week and they were able to take care of us with a professional friendly attitude. Ive spent thousands of dollars at SW and I will now take my firearm purchases and business elsewhere. Turners has a way better selection of firearms also and are willing to take care of your transfer needs . Taylor if you're reading this, you and your staff need to get on the same page so you don't waste people's time.Also an apology at the least would if been better but you didn't even do that. Worst customer service I ever experienced at a Sportsmen's Warehouse. Also 1 last thing I'd like to add, during this conversation with the manager there was no body waiting in line and there were employees behind the gun counter just standing around.

  Very rude manager and staff I was asking about a gun and I asked the manager if u can get one if I have been to jail and she look at me with disgust and disrespect I hate this place. Oh and waaaaay over priced BEWARE!! DONT GO HERE THE STAFF ARE DISRESPECTFUL AND THEY ARE OVER PRICED I WILL NEVER COME BACK

  I recently ordered a firearm through their website and received an email stating it was ready and to schedule an appointment via online to come into the store to start the 10-day waiting period paperwork. You even get text reminder, which is great! Since my Firearm Safety Certificate had expired, I also needed to retake the test. EDWIN helped me at the counter and made the entire process smooth from start to finish. He was friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable. I was greeted multiple times by different staff members, there were no lines, and the overall vibe was welcoming. I did go during the week so I can't say how the weekends are. The store is well stocked with just about everything you'd need for outdoor activities, with a strong selection of brands and gear. Overall, it was a great experience.
