    I love Nordstrom, their customer service is top notch. I wish they hadn’t closed so many of them during the pandemic the closest one to me is in Brea. I usually will order things online and have them delivered to the store. They are always so courteous, helpful. Last year I purchased my daughter’s prom dress and they were able to fit her in the same day I bought the dress for a seamstress to hem the dress (my daughter is only 5’1”). She did a fantastic job and my daughter LOVED the dress. I will be a Nordstrom customer for life!

    I "HAD" been a SUPER LOYAL Nordstrom Customer for the past 48 years and ALWAYS received excellent Customer Service to my Complete 100% Satisfaction at the Store Level and Nordstrom Financial Services for Credit Card needs. However, those expectations started to become less certain commencing approximately in June, 2025 when I started noticing minor Customer Service DECLINE! Then I read online that a majority of Nordstrom Corporation was purchased by a Mexican Department Store Retail CHAIN named El Puerto de Liverpool for 6.25 Billion Dollars. The transaction closed in May, 2025. SO THIS MADE SENSE NOW: A NEW OWNER AND NEW POLICIES!!! I was hoping for STATUS QUO! Unfortunately, approximately a month ago [MARCH, 2026] this has ALL CHANGED FOR THE WORSE!!! [AND EXTREMELY QUICKLY] NORDSTROM FINANCIAL SERVICES has MERGED with TD BANK [a Large East Coast Bank] and recently I have received HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE on numerous occasions! I have spoken with several supervisors and managers and they have informed me they have an ongoing problem if they put you on HOLD, when they come back on the line, you will be able to hear them fine, BUT THEY CAN NOT HEAR YOU AND WILL ABRUPTLY TERMINATE THE CALL!!! Additionally, I WAS a IKON CLUB MEMBER with nice PERKS and a Dedicated Customer Service Line HAVE ALL BEEN ELIMINATED!!! I feel no longer valued and their LOYALTY TO ME ABRUPTLY STOPPED; SO NOW MY LOYALTY & PATRONAGE TO NORDSYROM HAS ALSO STOPPED!!! For these reasons I don't think I will be a Nordstrom Customer any longer! ¡Adios Amigos! THANK YOU FOR THE PLEASANT MEMORIES!!! MR. ALCARAZ APRIL, 2026 PS: ATTENTION NORDSTROM SENIOR MANAGEMENT: IF YOU WANT TO INVESTIGATE MY CLAIMS AND CONTENTIONS, I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU TERMINATE YOUR CREDIT CARD SERVICING AGREEMENT WITH TD BANK BECAUSE THEY WILL DESTROY YOUR IMAGE VERY VERY QUICKLY!!! TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME ABOUT THE QUICK DOWNFALL OF NORDSTROM; SO SAD WHAT IT HAS NOW BECOME: A FOREIGN OWNER COUPLED WITH A RUTHLESS, INSENSITIVE BANK WITH SKY HIGH INTEREST RATE [OVER 30% APR] EQUALS: ¿¿¿WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG??? ¡¡¡EEEVVVEERRRYYYTTTHHHIIINNNGGG!!!

    Carolina was the nicest employee we would ask for!!!!!!! We would ask her a question and if we asked the same question again she would answer it with so much kindness. THANK YOU CAROLINA!!!!!!!!!

    Shocked at the service here at Nordstrom Brea. Most of the staff (with exception of Jasmine) and the people I've talked to over the phone are rude and unhelpful. They do not like to answer questions you have, check your orders, or just make sure they are giving you the right color (that I called multiple times to check before going down to the store.) To work in customer service you should at minimum have to be kind and willing to help which is definitely something the staff lacks here, specifically in the kids department. If you are having your first baby and have questions I would pick a different Nordstrom!

    Nordstroms hiring team at this location specifically needs to do better. It is insane to me that they let these employees act like they can’t help or do anything because they’re just simply lazy. I go to the pick up area of the third floor, there’s a white old man with glasses i believe and a black middle aged lady at the front desk. I asked them if there’s anyway or anything i can do to track my order because i did a guest checkout and didn’t input an email. He said that “there’s nothing he can do without an email” and i was like can’t u just search my name i remember putting a name and said “sure, it looks like the order was cancelled” mind u i was just talking to the white man but the other lady had to put her two cents saying “yeah it was cancelled there’s nothing we can do” which wasn’t helpful at all while there was a couple standing in line behind me waiting to be helped. (this all happened at around 7:20-30pm if u wanna check cameras) So therefore there was something the man could have done and I ask again is there anyway i can buy them again and use my email and he said there was none more available since it’s a sale item. I asked if he could show me his computer screen and simply pointed out that there was a size in stock so he was just lying. So they sent me back to 1st floor to buy the shoes again. The lady helping me to buy them again in 1st floor said there’s no way she could change my email since that email before was not mine. She said there’s nothing she can do to change it, i said so how will i know this won’t happen again and know if it gets cancelled. She said oh well i can just change the email of the order. Therefore, again there was something she could have done. Do better. Train your employees better. Hire better. Because it’s embarrassing that you have people that think they’re entitled working for a retail store pretending to be luxury.
