  Very disappointing experience at the Brea Alo store. I recently purchased a pink set and wore the sweats the same day. The next day, I washed them inside out on a light load, delicate cycle, and cold water. They came out heavily stained after just one wash. I was not aware they required such extreme delicate care, especially considering the price. I had them for one day before they were ruined. I called the store, and the associate strongly recommended I come in so they could better understand the issue, even though I explained it’s a 40–45 minute drive. When I arrived, the first associate who helped me was very kind and seemed to understand the situation. He appeared willing to offer a fair exchange but was unsure how to proceed, so he asked the worker next to him for guidance. However, a separate woman stepped in, interrupted, and handled the situation very rudely. She insisted I must have washed them with denim (which I didn’t and I said many times) and immediately refused to help. For such pricey sweats, I would have expected better quality and a more understanding team. Instead, I had an item ruined after one wash and then had to deal with a rude associate on top of it — overall just a bad-on-bad experience. I hope this review is helpful for anyone deciding whether to purchase items here or visit this specific store.

  Extremely frustrating experience. Incredibly unhelpful store associates. The manager was present during a very long unprofessional encounter with the cashier, who did not attempt to assist during the transaction. This was my first time at ALO at this location and needless to say my last.

  I visited an Alo store today, and when I asked a woman who appeared to be a manager for help finding pants, she spoke to me in a very rude and unfriendly manner. The customer service at this location was very poor.”
