This was my first time visiting this store, and it was one of the worst retail experiences I’ve had—especially for a luxury brand like Christian Louboutin.
I had been searching for the perfect wedding shoes and finally found my dream pair of red bottoms. There was only one pair left, and it was at this location. I called ahead, spoke with someone, and had them placed on hold under my name. I confirmed my arrival time the next day and drove four hours to pick them up.
When I got there, I explained I had a pair on hold, but the floor manager insisted no one had spoken to me and nothing was set aside. After some confusion, he brought out the wrong pair. I had to repeat myself again before he finally returned—about 10 minutes later—with the correct shoes.
At that point, I was excited… until I noticed the sole was already lifting. When I pointed it out, I was casually told, “you can just glue it down,” as if that’s acceptable for a $1,000 luxury shoe. I felt completely dismissed.
Unfortunately, it got worse once I got home. When I removed the red protective film, it left behind a sticky residue, and underneath there was a chunk missing from the sole.
For a brand known for quality and craftsmanship, this experience was incredibly disappointing. Between the poor customer service and the damaged product, this fell far below what you’d expect from a luxury purchase—especially for something as important as wedding shoes.
