I had an incredible experience with Avval at Sporting Life Oakridge! My shoe size is quite rare, so I usually struggle to find anything that fits properly. Avval went above and beyond to find my size and somehow understood exactly what kind of shoe I needed; even better than I did. His immense product knowledge, patience, and professionalism made the entire experience effortless. He explained the differences between the options and helped me find the perfect pair for both comfort and style. Exceptional customer service….I would highly recommend asking for Avval!

Shout out to manager Blake! I got a flat while I was cycling across Cambie along 45th and I remembered that there was a new Sporting Life was just around the corner. Blake answered my call and told me to come on in and that he would get me on the road as best they could. He made sure there was someone to help me out even though they are not a dedicated bike store or really set up for this sort of thing. He even threw in a patch kit to make sure I was able to make my way home. People like Blake make a store feel like a neighborhood. Thanks very much!
