From our home in Norway, Helly Hansen has been making professional grade gear to help people stay and feel alive for more than 140 years. It all started in 1877 when sea captain Helly Juell Hansen found a better way to stay protected from the harsh Norwegian elements. Soon thereafter, Captain Hansen and his wife Margrethe launched a business producing waterproof oilskin jackets, trousers, sou’westers and tarpaulins made from coarse linen soaked in linseed oil – and the legend was born!

The assistant manager was soo rude, dismissive, and acted like helping customers was an inconvenience. I had a simple request to return my jacket about instead of assisting, I was met with attitude and zero effort. What made it worse was the lack of professionalism — employees were standing around chatting while customers were waiting for help. I felt completely ignored and unwelcome the entire time I was there. For a brand that markets itself as premium, the in-store experience was shockingly poor. I will definitely not be returning to this location and would not recommend it to anyone expecting decent customer service.
