  Came in looking for my first recurve and got way more help than I expected. Colton in the archery department walked me through picking the right setup, then took the time to show me how to assemble it, string and unstring it safely, and what to check before each session. He never made me feel like a beginner asking dumb questions. I left with gear I actually understand how to use. If you're new to archery, ask for Colton

  Yesterday I came to the store with my boyfriend to look at firearms. When the female staff member saw me walking over, she immediately walked away and stood far off. I was confused by her behaviour. Normally when customers arrive, staff are supposed to approach and offer assistance. I visit this store regularly, but yesterday was my worst experience here.

  Fantastic experience with the Bass Pro Shops Tsawwassen store. I originally bought a rifle that unfortunately turned out to be defective. Now I know firearms are normally final sale, and that situations like this can get complicated quickly with all the RCMP paperwork involved in undoing the original transfer, so having the team at Bass Pro Shops Tsawwassen store work with me on an exchange meant a lot. Julie, Kevin, Bryan and the team were incredibly helpful! I really appreciated how much time they spent helping me and how easy they made a situation that could have been very frustrating. Great customer service really shows when something goes wrong, and they handled the situation exceptionally well. Cabela’s was already one of my favourite stores, and after this experience it will definitely continue to be my go-to place for hunting and shooting gear. Thank you! Ready for hunting season now!

  Ammo prices for big chain stores are way too high compared to little gun stores, on top of it they are not even taking visa or master gift cards. Rather support local businesses than over priced chain stores like Bass Pro and Cabela’s

  Too many Loiterers that aren't spending money, extremely noisy, children running around the entire store like it's a Seattle park Zoo and next to no adult supervision of these children. The children were climbing all over the Boats, ATV's, and camping gear section. How do you run a business like this? I walked in there expecting to be greeted by individuals who know at least the slightest small detail of what they are trying to sell me, but they know absolutely nothing of the product that's on display. Instead of walking into a once well established hunting/fishing store, it was like walking into a second adaptation of (World War Z). Where is the Old guy with the fishing/cowboy hat that knows a thing or two about fishing gear, or hunting gear? Doesn't even exist...
