  I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Shoe Company today. I recently spent over $500 buying three pairs of shoes from this store. After trying one pair at home, I realized it was slightly too big. I only wore it briefly once, and it is still in excellent, like-new condition. When I returned hoping to exchange it for the same shoe in a smaller size, the store refused because it had been worn. I wasn’t asking for a refund—just a simple size exchange after spending a significant amount of money at their store. What made the experience even worse was that the manager on duty today was very unfriendly and showed no interest in helping or finding any reasonable solution. I’ve been a loyal customer of Shoe Company for a long time, and this was the first time I actually needed some flexibility or customer service. Unfortunately, when I needed them, they let me down. This experience was incredibly disappointing and has made me question whether I want to continue shopping here. I’ll be looking for another store that values loyal customers and stands behind good customer service.

  I have been shopping at the Ronsons store for some time now and have purchased several expensive shoes there. Overall, I’ve usually had a great experience. The store is nice, and I’ve always enjoyed browsing and finding good quality shoes. Recently, I went back to the store hoping to find a pair of shoes I had bought during the summer because my friend really liked them. While I was there, I actually saw a beautiful pair of white shoes that I really wanted to buy. When I went to check out, I asked the customer care representative if they offered any birthday discounts. Instead of answering my question directly, she told me that I should come back another day because the sales associate who would be there was “Black.” I didn’t really understand what that meant or why it was relevant to my question. The comment made me feel uncomfortable and confused as a customer. Because of that interaction, my experience that day was not the best. It stayed on my mind for several days, and I finally decided to share my experience today. I had previously enjoyed shopping at this store, but that interaction made me reconsider whether I would return if that’s how customers are treated.

  I had a great experience in the store today. I was shopping for new work shoes and can be very picky, but Kelly (I believe that was her name) was patient, helpful, and really understood what I was looking for. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The cashier was training a younger employee, which I didn’t mind at all. When the shoes I chose weren’t available in my size, they helped me place an online order and arranged for them to be shipped to my home since I don’t live nearby. I would definitely return in the future if I need to buy shoes again!
