  I just wait outside. Good people watching spot. Must be good stuff in there because my wife likes to drive all the way there, a lot. Can buy and sell. Don't get much for selling but enough to pay for gas the get there and back. Always a stop on a trip to nanaimo

  I’ve been shopping at Plato’s Closet Nanaimo for quite a while now, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best retail experiences I’ve had. If you’re looking for stylish, name-brand clothing without paying full retail prices, this is the place to go. The selection is incredible. Every time I visit, there are new items on the racks, and it’s always exciting to see what brands you’ll find. I’ve picked up clothing from Nike, Lululemon, Aritzia, Zara, H&M, Patagonia, The North Face, Levi’s, American Eagle, Hollister, Garage, Vans, Converse, and so many more all in excellent condition and for a fraction of what they would cost new. What really sets this store apart is how clean, organized, and easy it is to shop. Unlike many thrift stores where you have to dig through endless racks, everything here is neatly displayed, sorted by size, and well presented. It makes shopping enjoyable, and I’ve found amazing deals every single time I’ve visited. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They’re happy to answer questions, help you find sizes, or explain how the buying process works. You can tell they take pride in what they do and care about providing great customer service. One of my favourite things about Plato’s Closet is that you can also sell your gently used clothing. It’s such a convenient way to clean out your closet, earn some extra cash, and know your clothes are going to someone who will actually wear them. The buying process is straightforward, fair, and incredibly convenient. I also appreciate the environmental impact. Shopping second-hand is one of the easiest ways to reduce waste, and Plato’s Closet makes sustainable shopping feel modern, fashionable, and fun. It’s a win for your wallet and for the environment. Whether you’re looking for everyday basics, workout clothes, jackets, shoes, handbags, or trendy pieces, there’s always something worth checking out. Their inventory changes constantly, so every visit feels different, and I’ve found some unbelievable deals that would have cost hundreds of dollars elsewhere. If you’ve never been to Plato’s Closet Nanaimo, you’re missing out. It’s become one of my favourite places to shop, and I recommend it to anyone who wants quality brands, affordable prices, excellent customer service, and a great shopping experience. I’ll definitely keep coming back and would highly recommend stopping in regularly you never know what amazing finds you’ll discover!

  This place was nice until I was spproached by staff 3x that I couldn't wear my backpack or hold my girlfriends bag while she tried clothes on

  Took items in to be purchased and the staff has no awareness of lines or moving at anything other then a snails pace. Two people behind the counter folding clothes and one on till while there was a line of people. The only saving Grace was the kind woman behind the counter.
