  I have been favoring online shopping lately but since I wanted to get something for my father (for father's day of course), We took a trip to metrotown and brentwood stores.. but wow.. what a difference in customer service. We were not rushed to make decision and no one in the store made a fuss about trying it out...felt like staffs in the store wanted use to get something we really want and fits well. At the checkout friendly employee 'Pola' who educated me about the benefit (of the store) and was willing to spend time and effort to make sure we take advantage of the promotions.. just took the customer service to another level. I was sure that I would come back and check out the store / online.... and funny enough my family and I went back 40 mins after and made another purchase.. same item..same price in other store but after checking that it was available in sportinglife online, just went back and made purchase.

  Excellent experience at Sporting Life. Eva was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. She took the time to explain everything about the bikes and made a great recommendation based on my needs. Her customer service was outstanding, and she made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend asking for Eva if you’re shopping for a bike!

  Bought a Garmin Venu 3 online from Sporting Life. The watch arrived faulty and wouldn’t connect to Bluetooth or Wifi, so I took time out of my weekend to drive over an hour to return it in store. The store had no replacement available, so I returned the watch and ordered another one online. A few days later, Sporting Life shipped me the exact same faulty watch back. I know it’s the same unit because I had previously photographed the serial number while troubleshooting it. The charging cables were packed exactly as I left them and the watch face was still missing the protective plastic. It appears the returned watch was never inspected and was simply put back into inventory and sold again as new. The first time I received it as it was in Spanish and already connected to someone’s device. Odds are it was likely a returned faulty device from the start. Mistakes happen, but sending a customer their own returned defective product back as a new purchase is unacceptable. Sending a faulty return to the same customer twice is an extremely disappointing experience.

  Sadly, this was a very disappointing experience with Sporting Life Burnaby. We purchased Hoka shoes for our daughter, and after only a few weeks of regular use, the sides of the shoes started falling apart. We reached out to customer service, provided photos, and visited the store in person, hoping for some understanding and support. As a repeat customer who has shopped here multiple times before, I honestly expected better service and more consideration from management. Unfortunately, no help or solution was offered.

  We had an excellent experience at Sporting Life, thanks to Mana. She was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. She took the time to answer all of our questions, explain different options, and make sure we found exactly what we needed without ever making us feel rushed. Mana’s professionalism, product knowledge, and friendly attitude made our shopping experience enjoyable and stress-free.
