  We love this store. It is one of the few stores in Canada that recognizes and supports Veterans & First Responders- thank you so much for the discount; it means the world to our family. This location is decorative and clean, the staff are friendly and approachable. We do miss the Browning belts & Browning Branded stuff and the Badlands Brand. Ladies clothing needs some larger clothing and V necks please, crew necks are not for everyone. They let us bring our tiny 5lb Chihuahua which was so nice- he's a purse dog. We were a bit disappointed that only 2/3 game carts were displayed- we purchased the one that wasn't displayed and we hope it is what we are looking for.

  It's always pleasant visiting this place 99% of what I want , I can find here . Service is excellent, whether I need a license for fishing or I've lost it and need a print out..don't waste time looking for something, ASK someone on staff and be directed to what ever you might be looking for quickly , so you could be on your way ...only one issue but unrelated wish they had rewards program so I could get free fishing stuff

  My daughter recently became interested in fishing, so we visited Bass Pro Shops in Abbotsford to look for some fishing gear. Since I don’t know much about fishing myself, it was really helpful to be able to see so many different options in one place. What surprised us was how much more there was to explore beyond fishing! We enjoyed walking around and checking out the archery section, hunting gear, Gun Library, and all the impressive wildlife displays throughout the store.

  Almost 2 years ago, I bought an SD card for my Garmin fishfinder and plotter. After several attempts to load it, I found out that it was the wrong SD card for my machine. I no longer had the box or the Bill and I went back to the fishing department and told them my situation that I had to get another One directly from Garmin. I asked them what they could do for me and they gave me a full refund without even the box or the Bill because they said we sold you the wrong one and they took full responsibility. They even gave me the chip back and told me I could maybe sell it on eBay. Anyway, I ended up getting some rain gear which I needed and there was a very nice girl in the rain gear department that helped me with that. I am totally impressed with this store and a big shout out to their staff and management.

  Really disappointed in their customer service. I tried calling a couple times this morning around 9:30 am and no one picked up so I figured I’d just drive over anyways while I’m already out. When I walked in there was 2-3 staff behind the front desk just standing around not doing anything. An older lady greeted me from front desk so I approached her to ask about a car booster. I also asked her if the phone calls come in to that desk area directly because I did try calling a couple times before I came in not even 10 minutes ago and no one answered. She gave me a condescending smile and talked to me like I was a child. She gave me attitude and told me it’s because the phones are in the back and she’s standing right there and can’t go back there. I told her I understand that’s fine but she didn’t need to talk to me like that. She apologized while still being condescending and I said it’s fine but I don’t appreciate the attitude. Mind you, there was a phone in the front two computers away from where she was. I feel like she genuinely ruined my experience and I will be returning the booster I got and buying it elsewhere. It’s really unfortunate she is the greeter because she essentially sets the tone for the shopping experience and her attitude completely threw me off.
