The experience at this place sucks. The staff called Jennifer was very rude. It felt so terrible that she followed me closely everywhere and kept telling me I mustn’t ask anyone else for help with sizes of clothes. She ensured her name on the list for “helping”with my order at checkout but I’m also pretty sure I will not visit again. Thank you for ruining my day, Jennifer!

I had a very upsetting experience at the Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store today.
I entered the store with a few friends, and almost immediately we were being closely watched by the manager and staff, which made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Shortly after, the manager approached us, accused us of stealing, and asked us to leave without any valid reason.
I am an associate at another store within CrossIron Mills, so I went back to my workplace and informed my manager about what had happened. My manager came back with us to address the situation, but instead of handling it professionally, the store manager became aggressive, raising his voice, turning visibly angry, and claiming he had already sent a file to the RCMP regarding us.
When we asked if we could return to shop peacefully, he instead threatened to call mall security and the RCMP again, which was completely unnecessary and escalated the situation further.
Despite all of this, I did end up making a purchase, which makes the accusation even more frustrating and unfounded.
This experience was extremely uncomfortable, unprofessional, and felt discriminatory. No customer should be treated this way. I will not be returning to this location, and I believe a formal apology from the store manager is warranted.
What on earth is going on in Calgary?
As soon as I entered the store, two women were standing there, focused on their conversation while staring at us. That felt unpleasant, but I let it go.
While browsing the store, no one assisted us, and I also let that go.
However, on my way out, when I made eye contact with two Asian men at the counter, they continued their conversation while staring at us as well. At that point, it was clear this was not an isolated incident.
I question whether the management is allowing this kind of behavior.
I have been loyal to this brand since I was very young, but the service at this Calgary location is substandard and falls well below the standards Polo has built over many years. I am very disappointed.
