Love this store and all of its products. If you go in, ask for Eric. Super friendly and knowledgeable and not pushy at all. Helped me with some great snowboard boots and a jacket.

I really don’t like leaving negative reviews, but our experience at Sporting Life today was unacceptable. My husband and I came in intending to shop and purchase clothing. While he was trying on a jacket, two security guards began following us and stayed within 5–6 feet of us, pretending to have a conversation while clearly monitoring us. I looked at one of them and said, “We’re not stealing.” He laughed it off, but neither guard backed off. We felt uncomfortable, unwelcome, and frankly, singled out. The experience made us feel bad enough that we simply left. There are respectful ways to interact with customers. This wasn’t one of them. First visit to Sporting Life, and definitely our last.

Went to Sportlife at Southgate today, September 18 at around 12:30 PM and asked for my size. The customer service? Absolutely disappointing. No welcoming vibe, no initiative to help, and the smiles seemed to be completely out of stock. I had to approach them just to get assistance, and even then, it felt like I was inconveniencing them. I came in ready to buy, but the customer service convinced me to keep my money. Sometimes, the way you treat customers is the reason they walk out without spending a dollar.

Wife and I had a great experience here. The store is very organized, clean and the staff were phenomenal. In-store pickups are ready within the hour and the staff always go above and beyond. Last time we had a pair of shoes on sale elsewhere for 30% off, the store price matched it without hesitation. Many thanks to Henry, Lauren and rest of store management for being so accomodating.

Not a good experience shopping here nor had a chance to even buy what i was looking for because the whole time i was followed around the store. I had checked my bag in the front like the sign said, but the manager (shayn) kept following me around the store. I didn’t think much of it until i turned around and saw another person also following me. So i decided to just walk into a random place in the store, baam! Both people still following me. I told them i didn’t need any help and shayn replied with “We’re making sure the store is safe” What a big insult to the face. I had done nothing wrong and was shopping around like everyone else in the store. Honestly very disappointed and disgust with how i was treated in the store, but not surprised since Ive heard many racist stories coming from this location. Will never return and definitely will not be recommending any friends. Do better as a company
