  Lauren at Sporting Life was outstanding and amazing. Give this girl a raise!! :D I walked in looking for some UV protective clothing and Lauren was right there to help me with answering all my questions about the clothing line Sporting Life supplies. Very helpful, Thank you Lauren!

  I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received at Sporting Life in Southgate Mall. I wanted to purchase two rain jackets for my sons that were clearly tagged at $49.98 each. While shopping, we also noticed a Father’s Day promotion stating that customers would receive a $25 credit when purchasing a $100 gift card. Since we were already planning to spend around that amount, we decided to buy the gift card first and then use it toward our purchase. When we got to the cashier, the total was much higher than the prices shown on the tags. We pointed this out, but the cashier seemed unsure and asked us to go back and take photos of the tags ourselves. We did exactly that and showed her the photos, yet she still insisted that the jackets were not eligible for the sale price displayed. At that point, we were confused and simply looking for some assistance, but the cashier was unwilling to help resolve the issue. We explained that if the pricing displayed was incorrect, the store should honor the advertised price. She refused, so we asked to speak with a manager. The manager, Christeanna, came over but was no more helpful. At one point, it seemed like she was about to honor the discounted price, but the cashier continued arguing against it, claiming that even with a 50% discount the jackets still wouldn’t match the sale price shown. After that, the manager backed away from resolving the issue and decided not to honor the displayed pricing. Frustrated, I said, “Never mind. Just refund the gift card I bought specifically because of this purchase.” I was then told that gift cards are non-refundable. So not only was the store unwilling to correct what appeared to be their own pricing mistake, but I was also left with a $100 gift card that I never intended to purchase in the first place. Unfortunately, I will have to return to the store to use that gift card, but once it is used, I will never shop here again. I am not someone who complains, returns items, or leaves negative reviews. In fact, this is very out of character for me. However, the way this situation was handled by both the cashier and the manager leaves me with no choice but to leave a 1-star review. If I could give zero stars, I would. Check the tags carefully and verify pricing before purchasing. My experience left me feeling misled, unheard, and completely disappointed.

  They put the wrong price on a jacket hanger. Got a gift card for a promotion extra $25. Price was wrong, they didn’t give me the published price plus they didn’t refund the gift card. Ilegal and rude. Specially the cashier. Cristiana manager got overpassed by cashier telling her what to do. HORRIBLE.

  Eric was very helpful when I was shopping for tennis gear. He answered all of my questions and was extremely knowledgeable about the products. He was friendly, patient, and never made me feel rushed. The level of customer service he provided truly stood out. This man raised the standard for customer service and deserves a raise!   Had a great experience with Ian in the Sporting Life shoe department. He was friendly, patient, and really took the time to help me find the right pair of shoes. He listened to what I was looking for, answered all my questions, and made some great recommendations without being pushy. It’s clear he knows the products well and genuinely cares about helping customers. Thanks to Ian, I left with a pair of shoes I’m really happy with. Excellent service from start to finish!
