  I would advise against bringing old Rolexes to this store for servicing. At best, they lack transparency. For context, my grandfather is a past president of the Canadian Jewellers Association and until 1987 owned a chain of jewelry stores by the name of Heinrichs Jewellery. I inherited one of his Rolexes as part of his estate when my grandma passed away. My husband wanted to wear it but the bracelet was one link too small. Living in the greater Edmonton region (but still 50 minutes one-way from West Ed), we naturally took it into Edmonton’s Rolex dealer. First we were brushed off like it was fake and told to come back when a gemologist was in to certify it. I did this drive again a few days later and their chosen gemologist (apparently independent but working behind their own store counter) immediately confirmed it was real. We paid him to do up an appraisal. The store staff then took down our information and the watch details and promised to get back to me shortly with info as to how we can get it fixed up so my husband can simply wear it. They did not, so I eventually followed up by email to inquire about the status. They asked me to bring in the watch again. I pushed back saying they had the information and sent them a copy of the appraisal. They then advised me *only at this stage* that to order parts from Rolex Canada, Rolex Canada needs to do their own verification and we need to bring in our Rolex yet again and have it shipped to Toronto. They told me “This process is standard for vintage watches.” Why didn’t they tell me this the first or second time I spent 2 hours commuting to their store? Given my grandpa would tell stories of goldsmiths who swapped out authentics with fakes, at this point with how I was treated, I wasn’t trusting this store with my heirloom Rolex I know is real but they seemed unwilling to accept. I waited to make sure I could and did service our Rolex elsewhere before leaving this negative review, admittedly one year later. The watch is now fitting my husband well and looking great for its age. Can’t speak to what it’s like to buy new jewelry from this store, and I won’t be finding out.

  I have purchased a $12,000+ watch way back 2021 with Clara. I have since then been on the “waitlist” for the oyster perpetual 36. I wanted the yellow, green, turquoise and coral. And now they’re phased out and I reminded time and time again for the OP36 in brighter colors: turquoise, green, pistachio, lavender It has been 5 long years and I still was not allocated the watch. But my friends from Edmonton and the people in the Edmonton watch group has been getting them and selling it for a markup. They are just monopolistic. Don’t deal with them.

  We have purchased a few timepieces from Gemoro, but our most recent experience was truly special. I’ve had my eye on the Cartier Tank for quite some time, and Otis made this birthday purchase absolutely seamless. He was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and patient with all our questions, and ensured the entire process felt like a celebration. Highly recommend asking for Otis if you're looking for expert service!

  Everyone is very friendly, and always willing to help. Solomiia was very helpful throughout the process of selecting my first luxury time piece -as there is a great selection of brands and models. She communicated all the info I required to make the best informed decision. I felt comfortable throughout the process and most recently we finalized on my second time piece. They are really patient when fitting to ensure the watch is comfortable and feels great! I can’t wait for the next piece…
