  My husband and I always have such a great experience at this location! Susanna is absolutely wonderful! She always welcomes us with a smile and treats us like friends. She goes above and beyond to make sure our needs are accommodated and that we feel welcomed every time we visit. It’s not just the great service, but the genuine kindness and personal touch that really stand out. Susanna is a big reason we enjoy coming back to this location. Thank you for always making our visits so special!

  Went in to buy my Grandma a gift, and I walked out of there more than satisfied. Thank you to Rochelle for scheduling my appointment, as well as Mark and Queenie for helping me find the items I needed. Great team work and I have no words to truly express my experience! Highly recommend!

  Terrible shopping experience. The staff made us feel very unwelcome, probably because we were just browsing and didn't buy anything. I noticed a masked employee roll their eyes at us on two separate occasions. My friend and I felt so uncomfortable that we left immediately.

  Seriously, train your staff better. We visited this branch the other day. Even though we already knew which items we were interested in, we still wanted to try them on before making a purchase. As soon as we told the salesperson that one size was too small and that we'd go with the other one, she immediately ran to the checkout counter without even looking back at us. Excuse me? We weren't done shopping yet. Thankfully, Susanna stepped in and was fantastic. She gave us the time and space to continue browsing without any pressure, which made for a much better experience.

  The salesperson who helped me was genuinely very nice. I was upfront that I wasn't buying a coat today and just wanted to try some on to check the fit and figure out the exact style I wanted. She was very accommodating and let me take my time. However, things took a turn when she went into full sales mode to try and close the deal right then and there. Her main selling point was pushing me to buy it here in Alberta to take advantage of the 5% tax rate, rather than paying the 13% in Ontario. My wife politely corrected her. She explained that if an Ontario resident purchases a retail item in a non-participating province (Alberta) and brings it back to a participating province (Ontario), they are legally required to declare it and pay the 8% provincial difference. The salesperson seemed completely confused by this. Even after my wife repeated it a few times, the salesperson brushed it off, saying she had never heard of such a thing and claimed that "no one would declare it." For a major brand like Canada Goose, having retail staff actively encourage out-of-province tourists to avoid tax as a sales closing tactic is highly inappropriate. For the store management's reference, avoiding this tax is a crime. Here are the specific regulations your staff should be aware of: The Excise Tax Act: Under the CRA's rules for the Self-Assessment of the Provincial Part of the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), consumers are legally required to self-assess the provincial component of the HST when bringing goods from a non-HST province into an HST province. CRA Form GST489: The CRA specifically requires consumers to fill out a Return for Self-Assessment of the Provincial Part of Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) to declare and pay the 8% difference. Telling customers that "no one declares it" is actively encouraging tax evasion. Great coats, friendly staff, but incredibly sketchy sales practices.
