- MPMatt Preikschas1 day ago1.0n May 19 at approximately 2:15pm at your location in Edmonton Alberta: address 15320 37 street I was detained in store by the Edmonton Police service for suspected shoplifting. One of your employees was then brought over to confirm that I was the individual of the suspected crime where without hesitation he confirmed by pointing at me and saying yes that’s 100 percent him. I was then handcuffed and arrested and led out of the store and placed in the back of a cop car… literally the most embarrassing moment of my life. All of this occurred before any security footage had been reviewed. After the officers had actually reviewed the security footage it was discovered that it was not me shoplifting. I was then released but the damage had already been done. I was in store that day to purchase approx 700 dollars worth of merchandise to take my wife and two girls on our first camping trip of the year a trip -That was cancelled as I wasn’t able to acquire the supplies I needed and didn’t have time to purchase elsewhere. Because of one employees negligence my family trip was ruined and I was completely embarrassed. Make it right Bass pro shops. I’m a hard working honest man and I have never stolen anything in my life.

Matthew truly went above and beyond to ensure I had what I looked for It’s rare to find someone so dedicated, friendly, and passionate about helping customers. Thank you, Matthew, for making my visit so easy and enjoyable. Bass Pro is lucky to have such an outstanding manager on their team. Highly recommended!
