I purchased an accolade set and after one wear, the 1/4 zip piled in the shape of a seat belt within having it for 4 days. The “manager” Amie Kirchner was extremely childish and refused to give me her name. She was extremely condescending and told me that it was my fault essentially as I had issues in the past with accolades. She said “ it was luck of the draw” if you get a good pair or not. She then proceeded to tell me to not purchase any accolade items as “ Alo is known for this issue” and that they are working on the solution. Why sell the items then and expect customers to drive back and forth to make returns ? I was not given the option to exchange for a different item I went in hoping to spend more money and purchase another scholar zip however was so turned off because of my interaction with Amie, I left and purchased items at lululemon in the mall. DO NOT come to this location as based on past reviews it is clear the manager Amie has zero customer service skills and needs further training as she kept telling me about how “she makes the commute from St. Albert” or how she has “ 9 pairs of accolades” ? With zero relevance. Not a single apology was offered, just condescending behaviour.

I purchased pants and returned them the next day half on debit half was via gift card, when they did the refund the smart person working automatically refunded back to the same gift card I used but I told the cashier to get rid of it because there is nothing on it any more. They promised to call me and email me to get it sorted out, no calls no emails had to go in and was promised once again thst they would call and or email me... it has now been day 2 since my last visit and no call no email and they do not answer.. so I will have to be forced to pay a visit tomorrow and trust me it wont be a good one. Worst store ever and worst customer service

I was shopping with my daughter over the weekend at Alo Southgate and had the most amazing experience with Josh in the fitting room. This was our first time in Alo and he had taken the time to introduce himself, make sure we had the app downloaded to use the sale, and gave us quality one on one time to try clothes that fit our body and style. My daughter felt so loved and appreciated in everything she tried on and as a customer. We will for sure be back because of this excellent customer service.

I had a really disappointing experience at Alo. I was excited about my purchase and specifically asked the associate at checkout for washing instructions. I followed exactly what she told me (garment bag, hang to dry), and one of the shirts came out of the wash covered in grey/dark stains and is now ruined.
When I returned to the store, the same associate refused to help, blamed me, and told me to contact online customer service. After spending nearly an hour going back and forth online, I was told they don’t assist Canadian customers who purchased in-store.
For a brand at this price point, the lack of accountability and customer service was extremely frustrating. Very disappointing experience.

Disappointing experience at Alo Southgate.
If I could give zero stars I would.
I purchased three sweatshirts on Dec 26 after being told I could exchange for the correct size once they came available. I returned once sizes finally came in and was told no exchange because more than 30 days had passed….even though the delay was due to inventory not being available. One item is still out of stock. The manager actually said “that’s the chance you take”
All items were unworn with tags and I had my receipt, yet the exchange was denied. The staff and manager were rude and condescending, with no effort to acknowledge the situation or offer a reasonable solution.
I should note the young guy I talked to first was extremely nice and helpful!!!!
For a premium brand, the lack of customer service was extremely disappointing.
I love ALO clothing but this experience ensures I won’t be shopping here again.
