I had such a wonderful experience at Alo Yoga today, all thanks to Sophia.
I was dealing with an issue with my gift card and was feeling very stressed, but Sophia was incredibly patient, kind, and professional throughout the entire process. She reassured me that everything would be taken care of and made sure I left happy. Her calm attitude, warm smile, and genuine care completely changed my day.
Her assistant was also wonderful and helped me pick out some great items while Sophia was resolving my issue. They both went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service.
If I could give Sophia 10 stars, I absolutely would! She is truly an amazing employee, and Alo Yoga is lucky to have her. Thank you so much for making what started as a stressful situation into such a positive experience!

We visited yesterday to purchase two Alo caps. We noticed there was only one cap on display, so we politely asked one of the sales associates if they had another one in stock. She said she would check, but instead of assisting us, she walked away and spent several minutes talking to the manager without providing any update or acknowledging us.
What was even more disappointing was the overall customer service. None of the staff greeted us upon entering the store or while we were browsing. Instead, they appeared more engaged in chatting with one another than assisting customers.
A premium brand should be matched by a premium customer experience. A simple greeting, attentiveness, and basic courtesy go a long way. Unfortunately, our visit fell well short of those expectations.

I am deeply disappointed and upset by my recent visit to the Alo Yoga store at West Edmonton Mall. I came in with the simple intention of buying a pair of leggings, but instead, I was met with completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior from the store manager.
From the moment I walked in, she began asking me highly inappropriate, intrusive, and personal questions, including asking where I was born. We do not know each other, and such personal inquiries felt incredibly invasive and disrespectful. To make matters worse, she literally followed me step-by-step around the store, closely watching my every move.
Because of this intense and suffocating pressure, I felt extremely stressed, uncomfortable, and unable to relax or enjoy my shopping experience. In the end, I was so overwhelmed that I simply had to leave the store empty-handed and upset.
This level of customer service is completely incompetent and wrong. A retail environment should be a welcoming space, not a source of anxiety. Due to this awful experience, I will never return to this location. Management seriously needs to rethink how they train their staff on basic boundaries and customer respect.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the horror story, ⭐ for the actual experience.
My friend and I recently spent almost $600 at Alo. While shopping for her bfs birthday gift, she picked up a dress for herself that cost around $170. It was her size, she was in a rush, and like most reasonable people, she assumed that clothing sold as "new" wouldn't require a CSI-level inspection before purchasing. That assumption was apparently her first mistake.
She got home, tried the dress on while THANKFULLY wearing her own underwear and a panty liner, and it looked great. Then she took it off.... To our absolute horror, the built-in shorts contained dried vaginal discharge from a previous customer.
Yes. You read that correctly.
For those wondering if she somehow caused this herself in the 30 seconds she wore the dress: No. Unless Alo has invented a fabric that can instantly age bodily fluids into a dry and crusty artifacts, this was very clearly there before the dress left the store.
I'm genuinely struggling to understand how this happened. Was the dress returned and immediately put back on the floor? Did nobody inspect it? Is quality control just a suggestion now?
The fact that someone paid $170 for a dress and received a complimentary sample of another customer's vaginal secretions is beyond unacceptable. It's unsanitary, disgusting, and frankly embarrassing for a company that markets itself as a premium brand.
At these prices, I expected quality. I did not expect biological leftovers. Beyond being absolutely disgusting, this is also a basic health and hygiene concern. No customer should ever purchase clothing contaminated with another person's bodily fluids with their hard earned money. Whether its large or small risk is beside the point—the fact that customers are being exposed to someone else's bodily secretions from an item being sold as "new" is completely unacceptable.
Alo, if customers are now expected to inspect every square inch of every garment with a blacklight before purchasing, that information should probably be posted at the entrance.
Absolutely vile and safe to say we will not be spending another cent here.
