  My experience at Sporting Life was great thanks to Tommy. I came into the store to buy a pizza and he politely informed me that this was a sporting goods store and not a pizzeria. He then recommended me a pizza place just up the road and it was incredible. I was so happy I returned to Sporting Life and bought 7 pairs of shoes. Truly A+ service here, thank you Tommy.

  I had the best customer service experience in Sporting Life yesterday and wanted to recognize the staff member Peyton who helped me. He was so knowledgeable about every question I had regarding ski equipment and I had lots haha. He really knew his stuff and didn't make me feel rushed. He was genuinely helpful and it feels so uncommon these days. Most sales people in sports stores are either indifferent or just want to shuffle you onto the register but Peyton was so patient and attentive. I feel so grateful for this and it made my shopping experience way more relaxed and comfortable. Top notch service!

  After many years away from the ski hills, I was starting from scratch with all of the gear and decided to check out Sporting Life. I struck up a conversation with Peyton who's a competitive racer, and was floored by the amount of knowledge he had. (As a golf gear head, this is something I truly appreciate). With Peyton's guidance and expertise, I put not one but 2 sets of skis together. I dare you to find better customer service from a sales rep anywhere in the city. If you need gear, Peyton is your guy! 6 stars out of 5.

  We would like to thank the amazing Gaby at the South Centre Sporting Life location. When she was taking our payment ( we asked for any available discounts ) she suggested paying with gift certificates because of a special promotion and saved us money on our purchases. In this economy, it is so nice to have a real human being who understands the value of a budget and still wants to please her customers. We may have walked out without a purchase but Gaby allowed us to see that we could get a deal and supported us. Gaby has a great attitude and exceptional customer service. Thank you!

  Ok so first off, I get that corporate has now launched the same "Get a five star google review" that every dead end company is striving for because let's face it - we're back where we started. You can try to advertise all you want, but a bad customer experience will ruin your return on investment. So instead of investing in employees, companies are making them beg for reviews. Don't worry - I do this professionally for thousands of companies around the world! Let's start with my first google experience - REDIRECTION. While the corporate losers are focused on google reviews (which are nothing without EX), other companies are battling on google maps - I first got directed to a totally different company, so have fun giving google money in that battle. I digress. I imagine Natasha saw me stomping around in frustration - I had been to another location and found a set I wanted but not the right sizes. I saw SOME OTHER GIRL with a half zip walking to the cash and was looking for it frantically to match a set. Natasha saw my frustration and offered assistance, and then went around the floor searching before found the sweater I was looking for hidden in a crate on a display. Literally HIDDEN, but on sale...WHY?! Natasha found my size and then helped me sort through the pile to find the best fit and indulged me trying on different sizes to ensure it really was THE BEST FIT! She provides incredible customer service, shows initiative and a desire to help others. Thank you Natasha for the great service! Sporting Life, I've shopped your brand for over 20 years - the ick level is now at an all time high. Stop trying to solicit google reviews - pay and retain staff that provide good service so you don't even worry about the review. The people are what make the difference - otherwise I would just order it online.
