  I am extremely disappointed with how this store handled a promotional offer. A couple of months ago, I visited the store and was specifically told at the entrance that the promotion offering a complimentary tote bag with a qualifying purchase was still active. Based on that information, I intentionally made a purchase for the required amount because I really wanted the tote bag. When I went to pay, I was told that they had unfortunately run out of bags. The staff placed me on a waitlist and assured me that they would follow up with me within two weeks so I could come back and receive the bag. I waited, and after a month I returned to follow up. I was then told by a manager that the promotion had already been discontinued and that the remaining bags had been given away during a recent busy sale period. Apparently, even though I had been placed on a waitlist and promised a follow-up, there was nothing they could do. What disappointed me even more was the lack of empathy or meaningful apology. If the promotion was no longer available, I would have expected at the very least some acknowledgment that I made my purchase specifically because I was told the promotion was active, or perhaps an alternative of comparable value. I honestly find this unacceptable, especially from such a well-known and highly regarded brand. Customers should be able to trust the information provided by store employees, and if a promotion cannot be fulfilled after a customer has made a qualifying purchase based on that information, the situation should be handled with much more care and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience completely changed my impression of the brand. It is not about the value of a tote bag — it is about how customers are treated and whether a company stands behind what its employees promise.

  I don’t know why anyone would shop here over lululemon. The prices are silly and the quality is terrible. The sweatshirts are straight up Bella and canvas. Zippers are terrible. I got a gift card for the store for my birthday and I can’t use it to shop online, only in store. Lame.

  Horrible Horrible Horrible Experience. Awful Customer Service. I had bought an item which i ended up not liking. I took it back to the store a few days later with the price tag on it. They refused to refund/exchange or anything for the product as they said there is no tag inside the item (the tag that talks about what material its made from etc). I tried to tell them that this is how the product came, and they gave me all this bs about how they double check to ensure that tags aren't missing (when I literally watch them not do any of that at time of purchase). Anyways, they refused, their supervisor refused, and apparently they have no manager in store for any time in the near future... lol... wth... Anyways I contacted online customer service and they are no better either, spewing the same garbage. They said they will take it into consideration and get back to me... i highly doubt any changes... This will be the last time I step foot in this store, as well, as shop ALO... To anyone reading this, remember one thing, sales will also have a smile on their face to make a sale... its in the times of issues where there true colors are shown. Look at the reviews of this location... do yourself a favor and don't even bother going inside.

  I almost didn't stop by because of some of the reviews, but I'm glad I did. I was looking for a gift for my daughter-in-law so I ended up going. The store was clean and nice. I have only ever shopped online a few times so this was my first time going in any Alo location in-person. Although, the music was a bit loud so it felt a bit chaotic at times. The staff were incredibly helpful! I was looking for a few specific shirts that I had seen online but I had no idea what size to get her since I’ve found the sizing to be inconsistent. I was quite overwhelmed but they provided several different recommendations. I am a bit unsure of what is “trendy” these days LOL. My daughter-in-law loved my gift! The customer service was excellent. I have seen other reviews regarding the clothing quality and I have had some of the same issues. Personally, I stay away from the sweatshirts. I have not had an issue with my other items so far. I do not typically make reviews but I would like to share my own experience at this specific location. Perhaps I came in on a good day but I had a wonderful experience.

  To be honest with how much ALO charges they need to train their staff better. What use is a group of people just standing around and looking clueless. The only consistent person is the greeter and only 1 girl ever offered assistance despite us coming back to the store a few times browsing. In the fitting rooms, once they let you in, you’re out of sight & out of mind. No one came to see if I needed sizes and when I left the changing room no one was in sight. Just four people standing around 1 cash register. Also the fact that my profile on the online store is separate from the physical store is stupidity.
