I've been a loyal Rimowa customer for decades.. with a long history and substantial investment at the Alberni location alone- but this recent experience was incredibly disappointing.
My repaired luggage was sent to an old address even though the new one was confirmed twice and updated in their system. I even spoke with staff who apologized and said it was fixed - yet it still went to the wrong place the next day. We had to drive to another city ourselves to retrieve it from a building that thankfully released it to us.
No remorse and no apology from the store after this.
This kind of disorganization and carelessness shouldn’t happen at a luxury brand like Rimowa. The level of service has seriously dropped under new management, and it’s frustrating to see loyal customers treated this way. Save yourself the hassle and shop Rimowa at Holts or anywhere else but here.

Nicely decorated shop in downtown; easy to reach with public transportation.
Good selection of latest RIMOWA products.
Reason of my visit today was to repair a defective Rimowa piece of luggage:
the repair was done quickly within less than an hour (initially I was told I could pick up tomorrow) and they sent an email to pickup the fixed piece.
Unfortunately there was no warranty on my luggage - so I had to pay for the expensive repair. Not sure, if I stay with RIMOWA in the future, because of what the repair costs, I could easily have bought one or even two pieces of new and cheaper luggage.
Of course I like the idea of repairing and re-using to save resources - but not at any price.
