Fortunately I had a spare carry on suitcase, otherwise I would have had miss the flight. I strongly suspect that the clerk gave me a defective product.

While looking over my bag that I was considering Ellen offered up some great advice that this particular bag was too big to fit within some Canadian airlines storage compartments. I felt like I could look around without being harassed but still had help available when needed. Staff felt knowledgeable about their different product lines.
