  Sirjaan, sales associate at Sunglass Hut, provided an amazing experience. She was very patient, professional, and genuinely caring throughout the whole process. She took the time to understand what we were looking for and made sure we were comfortable with our choice. Her customer service was outstanding, and she made the shopping experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend asking for her if you visit!

  I had a very unpleasant experience at the Sunglass Hut location in Metrotown (Unit 214). The staff were unprofessional and unwilling to help with my exchange - it honestly felt like they didn’t even want to sell sunglasses. After checking the reviews for this location, I noticed other customers have had similar experiences, which unfortunately lines up with how I was treated. Their demeanor and attitude said everything. The worst part was that the manager was the one who provided this experience. I hope they take feedback from unhappy customers seriously and make some changes. Thankfully, I went to another location (Store #1116) where Smit and his associate completely turned things around. They provided excellent customer service and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I ended up ordering a pair of custom Oakley Radar EV Path sunglasses shipped directly to my home and I can’t wait to receive them. Overall, very disappointing experience at #214 0/10

  I had a really great experience at this store. The selection is amazing, with so many stylish options to choose from, and everything feels high quality and thoughtfully put together. What really stood out to me was the atmosphere and the service. The staff are super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely take their time to help you find something that fits your style. You never feel rushed, and the whole experience is just very relaxed and enjoyable. You can tell they really care about their customers, which makes such a difference. I left feeling really happy with my purchase and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend checking this place out! 😊

  -100000/10 experience. Came in because my boyfriend was looking for some new sunglasses. We were asked multiple times by multiple staff members if we needed any help to which we politely declined each time. We were then followed and stared down, and employees kept trying to chime in with unwanted and unnecessary “advice” on what looks good and what doesn’t on my boyfriend (who at the time had already chosen a pair he liked). It came to a point where I was visibly aggravated and sternly told one of the employees that we do not need any help, we were browsing, and we had been approached multiple times already. We were definitely also being targeted as shop lifters even though your store is the size of a literal hallway (how would anyone be able to steal from you with employees located at the front, middle and back of store) and we were carrying shopping bags with us too.. clearly we wanted to spend? We didn’t buy because we didn’t want to give any of the employees commission. We went to the other location in the mall and an employee apologized on their behalf, stating they’ve had tons of theft and that’s likely the reason we were treated that way. No one deserves to be profiled, and with 3-4 employees at all entrance/exit points, including a security guard, you shouldn’t need to hover as much or follow and stare at potential customers. Having to repeatedly tell employees NO to help, wanting a peaceful shopping experience and getting unsolicited opinions won’t drive up sales or help your commissions. Won’t be coming here ever again.

  had a very unpleasant experience returning a pair of sunglasses at this location. I’ve actually spent a significant amount with Sunglass Hut recently—purchasing multiple pairs including Gucci and Ray-Ban (in-store and online)—so I’m not new to the brand. That’s why this experience was especially disappointing. I bought a pair from another location and returned it within a couple of days simply because I didn’t like them. The staff member (who appeared to be the manager) was immediately confrontational. She questioned my return, called the other store to verify the purchase, and made comments like “I have three of these, I’ll sell them in an hour,” which felt inappropriate and unprofessional. The most shocking part was when she took the sunglasses case and threw it in the garbage in front of me. When I asked why, she compared it to a toothbrush and said it couldn’t be reused because of “fingerprints,” which made no sense and came across as disrespectful. There was no attempt at proper customer service—just attitude and hostility. I understand return policies, but there’s a professional way to handle customers, and this was not it.Her name is Anusha
