  I had an excellent experience at this location with Yhanvi. He was incredibly professional, kind, and truly went above and beyond to help me with my purchase. I felt respected and well cared for throughout my visit. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for sunglasses. Staff are genuinely courteous and helpful.

  Me and my mom went today to buy a Meta as a gift for my brother, and Anusha was absolutely amazing. She took her time to explain all the features and helped us understand the difference between generation one and two since we were not sure which one to get. She was so patient, knowledgeable, and kind while answering all our questions. We told her we’d come back with my brother later, and we actually did. When we returned a few hours later, she welcomed us again with the same positive energy. My brother also had a great experience, and we left really happy with our purchase. Anusha made the whole experience memorable, she has such great customer service and a genuine attitude. Highly recommend this store and really appreciate the amazing help we received from her.

  I went to the Guildford store to return my Ray-Ban Meta AI Glasses G2 (worth $740, with a protection plan). The employee there told me I couldn’t return them at that location and that I needed to drive to the Metrotown store because that was the “home store” for the purchase. After taking the 15-minute drive to Metrotown, the employee there refused the return, saying there was a small scratch on the side — even though I had paid for a protection plan. He then spent several minutes on the phone with the Guildford location asking why I was sent there in the first place, but still refused to help. This was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. I was sent between stores, given conflicting information, and denied service that should have been covered by the plan I paid for. To make things worse, I had already purchased the Ray-Ban Meta Display glasses, so this was meant to be a simple return, not a complicated process. Sunglass Hut really needs to improve its communication between locations and provide consistent information to customers — especially for high-value purchases like these.

  I bought two pairs of glasses from the Sunglass Hut near H&M on the ground level and the experience there was excellent. Anusha was patient, welcoming, and helped me find styles that matched my preferences perfectly. But, I had to return one of them and since I was already near the Sunglass Hut by Nike I went there hoping to process the return and also check out more styles for a possible exchange. The manager (I believe his name was Yhanvi) was extremely disrespectful and dismissive. Without even listening, he told me I had to return it at the original store where I purchased, even though my receipt clearly states returns can be made at any Sunglass Hut location. When I pointed this out, he said, “That doesn’t matter to me.” That is not the type of service any brand should deliver and it felt as though he only cared about sales made at his location rather than helping a customer. So I had to walk across the mall back to the other store where Anusha and her team immediately processed the return in under two minutes with no issues at all. They also confirmed that no such "policy" exists and that returns can be made at any Sunglass Hut location. I have been a loyal Sunglass Hut customer and have purchased six pairs overall, but this experience was shocking. I would never step into the Nike-side location again, while I will gladly continue shopping at the H&M-side store where the staff truly value their customers.
