  I went to take out my ski boots for a run and experienced significant pain around my calves and the front of my shins. When I came into the store, Max took a look at my stance and my feet and immediately knew how to address the issue. I truly appreciated his genuine concern and passion for fixing the problem. Max is an absolute gem. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely enjoyable to talk to. I loved hearing his stories, learning from him, and feeding off his incredible energy. I felt immediate relief and was extremely impressed by the adjustments he made. Max is crucial to your skiing journey. Book an appointment with him - you will not regret it.

  I had an excellent shopping experience today. Eugenii who helped me with my ski boots was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. He took the time to understand my needs, helped me find a pair that fits perfectly, and taught me a lot about ski boots and proper fitting along the way. Later, when I was shopping for clothing, he actively called over the right sales associate for that section and made sure we were taken care of. The level of teamwork and genuine willingness to help really stood out. I’m very grateful to have met such wonderful people today. Eugenii made my shopping experience smooth, enjoyable, and truly memorable. I left not only with the perfect gear, but also in a great mood. Highly recommended!😆

  I had great experience with the Service Department of Sporting Life. I dropped off my skis for waxing and told Andrew that the bindings were wiggly. He noted this on the waxing request form and Evgenii was able to determine the binding system is defective although I have been using the skis for the past season. I realized the reason why it was so easily falling off. Eventually Evgenii helped me with the refund and replacement process in a professional and efficient way. My trip to Sun Peaks has proved that the new skis have been working perfectly. Thanks to Andrew and Evgenii.

  I usually wouldn’t review a big corporate store, but this is more of a review for a staff member, Amin. She went above and beyond the service you typically get in a big corporate‑owned store. She took the time to actually listen to what I needed, and make sure I left feeling taken care of. Her patience, professionalism, and genuine kindness and interest stood out from the moment I met her. It’s rare to meet someone who treats their job with that level of care, especially in a busy retail environment. She’s the reason I’ll be returning to this location, and I hope the company recognizes what an asset she is.

  Terrible customer service experience – ruined what could have been a great visit. I will find out this staff's name and update this review. On December 22, 2025, I bought a ski helmet and goggles here. The ski associate was fantastic – attentive, friendly, and helpful, which impressed me a lot. I tried them at home for about 30 minutes and they weren't comfortable, so I returned both items (brand new, with tags) on December 29 at 4:31PM – no issues with the return. I decided to give the store another chance and look for replacements. I found a helmet that fit perfectly and wanted the same goggles I'd just returned, but in deep ocean color (none on the shelf). I approached a female staff member (about 5'1", wearing black Arc'teryx clothing) who was chatting with another employee. I asked if they had a brand-new deep ocean pair in stock. Without checking or hesitation, she bluntly said "No, we don't carry any in stock." When I mentioned I'd just returned one and it fit great with the helmet I was buying, she snapped that she wasn't from the ski department and knew nothing about it. Her attitude was extremely unfriendly and dismissive. It was shocking that a staff member would give definitive wrong information without knowing the department. Eventually, I found a proper ski associate who was professional and quickly located the color I wanted in the back. Later, at checkout at 6:11PM, I noticed this same unfriendly staff was working the cashier counter next to mine. While some staff are excellent, this one employee's rude and unhelpful behavior completely soured the experience. I'll make sure to share this with others. Very disappointing for a premium store like Sporting Life.
