Stopped by Bass Pro Shops today and experienced some of the worst customer service I’ve seen. My friend and I waited at the gun counter for nearly half an hour while employees avoided assisting us. There was no rush, no line, and no excuse. Even when we tried to get their attention, we were brushed off and ignored. We were seriously considering a high-end purchase but ended up leaving frustrated and uncomfortable. The lack of basic assistance and the feeling of being stereotyped made this visit unacceptable. Management seriously needs to address this.
Thankyou

Visited the Bass Pro Shops gun counter and had an extremely disappointing experience. My friend and I were interested in purchasing a firearm priced around $1,500, yet multiple employees were present and completely ignored us for over 30 minutes. The department was not busy, staff were walking around freely, and no one acknowledged us despite clear attempts to ask for help. We felt judged and dismissed, possibly based on assumptions about who we were. In the end, we left without buying the firearm and received no guidance even when purchasing ammunition. Very poor customer service and unacceptable behavior.

I always love going into Cabela's/BassPro , always wish I had more money. But they sighted in my scope, and sold me a new set of trigger locks.
The trigger lock i had was a piece of junk, and my scope i tried to sight it in myself at The Range Langley, got frustrated and came here today.

It was my first time visiting this location; usually we go to Tsawwassen. I went there to buy a Ruger that was out of stock at other Cabela’s stores, but they had it available. Caleb from the gun shop staff helped us, and he was very professional and patient. I found him to be a great guy. We will definitely visit again. Thanks, Caleb!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I had an excellent experience at Bass Pro Shops Abbotsford BC today. Anthony assisted me from start to finish and guided me through everything with great patience and professionalism. I was completely new to fishing and unaware of many details, especially since I’m traveling and buying this for someone else.
Anthony explained everything clearly, asked about the type of fishing I wanted to do, and recommended the right rod and reel combo. He even drew diagrams to explain the parts of the fishing rod and reel, helped me assemble everything, and demonstrated how to use the reel properly. I received both theoretical and practical knowledge, which made the whole experience very easy and enjoyable.
He was friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout my time in the store. I truly learned a lot today. 10/10 experience, five-star service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. I highly recommend everyone to visit this store. Anthony did an outstanding job—thank you!
