Worst run Sportsman's I've been to. The only location within 100 miles that listed a product as in stock. Purchased online and went to the store to pick it up. 2 hour drive 4 hour round trip. I walked in and was met with a young guy with no customer skills and an attitude. He needs to be in the back not the first person you meet, he obviously hates his job. He told me it was going to be a few days, I told him I paid and it was the only store listed as in stock. He repeated it was going to be a few days, to which I repeated then it's not in stock now is it. He then called a manager. Manager said it may have come in but not be in the stores system yet, he was going to look in the back. Okay reasonable, so I waited a while for him to return. He then said it wasn't ready because of some fraud thing on their end for amounts over a certain number or something. To which I said okay so it's not here. And he responded idk maybe you'll have to go look back at the gun counter. Wasn't that what he was supposed to be doing while I waited? Oh and he said if it's there I'd have to pay again and then call customer service to get the online order cancelled. So I walked to the back and waited for a while again because they were understaffed. Only reason this is a 2 star instead of a 1 is because the gun counter guys were good at their job. So they did have it in the end, I did have to buy an $1800 item twice. There's no reason that the first person I interacted with couldn't have went back and checked for me or the manager and then brought it up and marked my order as received. Instead, I had to talk to several people and waste a lot of time making me late to a meeting.

My husband and I went to Sportsman's Ware house on Saturday 3/21/26. The store is like a dead zone. Flat, dead energy. No customers, sparse merchandise, and he was completely ignored at the ammunition counter. I used to be a fun store, now as boring and basic as it gets. We won't be going back.

Been here 3 days in a row. The guy n counter line is always so long and having to wait for an hour just to get help is absolutely ridiculous. Only 2 people working and several people waiting. Very poor and inexcusable service. Time to move on to a different store. One that cares about customers. Does this exist anymore? Ended up buying one elsewhere. This store lost out on 1100.00.
