- MMMarc MendozaAug 24, 20241.0Terrible customer service. Employees are never available for calibration times. The options on the automated calling system has very little options, and the options it does have don’t support you much either. I’ve had multiple times customer service closed early on me which caused me quite a bit of fiasco. It seems real difficult for smart start to point you to another service center for some odd reason. Please fix this for other future customers.

What do I need to bring to my installation?
Bring a photo ID and proof of residence in the form of a document verifying your address. You may also be asked to bring any documents that pertain to your case, depending on the state in which you or your program are located. How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.

Is an Ignition Interlock the same as a breathalyzer?
