Mei was our client advisor and she went above and beyond for my husband and I. We initially went in for a cleaning kit and walked out with a wedding band. I love that she made our visit feel special and she really listened to what I wanted in a wedding band. We can’t wait to work with her for our next visit. Thank you Mei!

My fiancé bought me a pair of pearl earrings earlier in the year, I love them and wear them all the time. We leave for Mexico tomorrow and I was planning to also wear the for our engagement photos on our trip. Well, a few nights ago one of the pearls just popped off the setting and luckily it happened while I was at home so it didn’t get lost. I was sad, but assumed that Tiffany would take care of it no problem. I brought earrings in and told the staff what happened, it was then that I was informed that they had to ship the earrings to NYC for repair, which would take 3 weeks. And on top of that it would cost me $75!!!! I’m sorry what?! I already paid several hundreds of dollars for these earrings THIS YEAR and not once has this ever happened to any of my jewelry, and now I have to pay to fix your crappy craftsmanship? This is absolutely wild and absurd. Had I bought these from Nordstrom they would have just swapped them out for a new pair and I would have still been able to wear these on my vacation tomorrow and had them for my engagement photos. I am truly shocked by the lack of customer service at a place that I never imagined would lack customer service.

I don’t often leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share this experience given my long relationship with Tiffany. Over the years, my husband and I have purchased countless gifts - including our wedding gifts when we were married at the Plaza in NYC - and we also maintain a contact at the flagship store on Fifth Avenue. Having been born and raised on the Upper East Side, Tiffany has always held a special place for me. Today, however, I was shocked by the unpleasant customer service I received at the Scottsdale location. I had stopped in to purchase a bracelet for my 14-year-old niece in Paris. Since I now live in Paris, I had first visited the Champs-Élysées Tiffany, but their selection for teenagers was limited. Knowing I would be in Scottsdale, and recalling a previous positive visit where we had jewelry serviced, I anticipated a similarly smooth experience. Unfortunately, when I asked whether the bracelet could be shipped to Paris, I was met with a curt “No!” followed by, “I don’t know of any brand that ships internationally!” When I mentioned that jewelry had previously been sent to NYC for servicing, simply to reference my relationship with the flagship, the male attendant snapped back, “Yes, because the store is in the country.” The tone felt unnecessarily condescending, hardly the Tiffany standard. At that point, I decided to walk out. I politely said thank you, and left. I called Tiffany customer service directly this afternoon, purchased an Elsa Peretti Open Heart bracelet, and was immediately offered free shipping to Paris, no issue whatsoever. This Scottsdale location feels entirely off-brand compared to what Tiffany represents in quality and service. It’s a shame, as our first experience here had been very pleasant. After today, however, I won’t be doing business at this location again. And overall, the poor service cheapened the brand for me. Hiring standards should be much higher.

Unfortunately I agree with the others, I believe this store needs customer service training.

Let me start by saying this: I’ve been shopping at Tiffany’s since I was 14 years old. I’m now in my mid-30s and have built a substantial collection of sterling silver jewelry—all from Tiffany’s. Or at least I used to. After what I experienced this week, that long-standing loyalty is officially dead. When I arrived at what used to be the iconic Tiffany’s location in Scottsdale, I was greeted with... construction. The store has temporarily moved a few doors down, but don't worry—you’ll find it easily. Just look for the four men in suits loitering at the entrance, doing nothing but holding up the facade of “luxury.” Inside? Not a single customer. Not one! And after interacting with a store rep for all of three minutes, it was painfully obvious why. Tiffany’s has become cheap—and not in price, but in principle. I wasn’t there to buy anything. I came in with about a dozen of my sterling silver pieces, hoping to get them polished before an upcoming trip. Something I’ve done with ease for years. The routine was simple: drop off the jewelry, pick it up the next day. Not anymore. Now, apparently, you need to book an appointment online. Why? Who knows—there wasn’t a soul in the store, and clearly, the staff had nothing else to do. Reluctantly, the rep told me he’d “make an exception this time.” We sat at a sad little desk in the far corner where I started unpacking my pieces. I reminded him I’ve been a loyal customer for decades and bought almost every single one of these items at that very store. Didn’t matter. He informed me—with an unbothered tone—that it would now cost $20 per piece to polish them. Excuse me? I own jewelry from David Yurman, Cartier, John Hardy, the list goes on.. Not a single one of those brands charges a cent to clean or polish your silver pieces—especially not for long-time clients who come in once every year or so for this service. But Tiffany’s? They’ve decided to start nickel-and-diming loyal customers for basic service, while paying idle staff to stand around like security guards at a nightclub. This is not the Tiffany’s I grew up with. It’s a hollow shell of a brand, trying to squeeze every last dollar out of the people who kept it alive in the first place. And if that weren’t enough, the rep also tried to sell me a self-polishing kit. This visit will be the last time I ever step foot inside a Tiffany & Co. store. I’ll take my business—and my money—somewhere that actually values its customers. And I’ll make sure others know what Tiffany’s has become: a brand that traded legacy and loyalty for lazy policies and cheap tactics!
