- NLNichelle LancasterFeb 25, 20265.0Its great spot to go to for my calibrations just drive up to window no garage parking needed and if your close to lock out they are there for you. Sometimes they will post if they closing early so just check before its too late. The admin Blanca and shop guy Antonio actually checked in with DMV for me and get responses that needed and fixed my Extensions. I love how the took care of me very fast and smooth. They take debit card also.
- PWpaige waldrefJan 12, 20265.0Over all, all interlocks are a joke.. they will squeeze every dollar out of you, like when I was in the icu for a couple weeks and they slapped me with a $200 unlock code.. BUT this specific location was great to deal with, Antonio P. Had my interlock taken off of my motorcycle in 15 minutes and I was back on the rode. Yes they install them on Motorocycles at this location. He was professional and fun to chat with. Thanks Antonio, you made my day easy! I would like to throw out there to mark your calendar when you are due to get your device taken off your vehicle. The MVD nor Smart start sent me anything stating that I was set to get it off. So I ended up paying for three extra months and having to call multiple places multiple times to make sure it was time to come off. Which I find completely wild but what do I know.

How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.
What can breathalyzers detect?
Breathalyzers only measure your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC).
Is an Ignition Interlock the same as a breathalyzer?
Ignition Interlock and handheld breathalyzers both test your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), but an Ignition Interlock Device is only installed in vehicles and prevents the car from starting if there is alcohol detected. A handheld breathalyzer only detects alcohol and may tell you the concentration.
Can I unplug my Ignition Interlock?
Check with your state authority to see if you are allowed to unplug your Ignition Interlock before doing so.
Can someone else drive my car?
Yes, but whoever is driving the vehicle MUST take a breath test and pass before driving. Any failed test will still be your responsibility.
