This place used to be one of my favorites. I grew up coming here and would always bring friends because you could count on finding amazing deals. It was a saturday tradition for me and my sisters to go.
Fast forward to now, and it’s completely changed. Prices are higher than retail for used items, and there are no returns, which just doesn’t make sense. It takes away the whole appeal of shopping here.
What’s even more disappointing is the management. The new blonde manager is incredibly rude to regular shoppers, which makes the experience uncomfortable. It’s a stark contrast to the last two managers, who were great and had strong customer service skills. I heard her on the floor saying she’s driving prices because she doesn’t want certain customers getting it at a good price and she’s over hearing feedback about the price increases. After hearing that I will never go back.
Because of all of this, I’ve stopped going entirely and won’t be bringing anyone or recommending this place anymore, which is really sad considering how much I used to love it.
I will say, the regular employees are always so sweet and helpful. If you have questions, I definitely recommend asking them rather than the managers.
Overall, it’s just a shame to see how far this place has gone downhill

Who is in charge of the new pricing this past year? Most items in store, especially skims are priced higher than listed on Nordstrom or even Nordstrom Rack. I purchased a pair of shoes and ripped the tag off and found a Nordstrom Rack clearance tag with a lower price than what I paid for in last chance. This is a clearance store!! Doesn’t make sense. Your homeware, especially the electronics are at such a high price that it’s worth just buying it new, plus you have no guarantee anything would work. Also BEWARE, I have noticed a significant amount of fake counterfeit merchandise being sold on the floor, especially in designer! Please just make last chance back to what it used to be!
You have to be in the mood to shop here. It has a huge following and it's always packed, for returned/ used Nordstrom merchandise. AND NO returns either, make sure you really want whatever you buy because you own it once you leave. It's also hit or miss, I've had times where I have found so many bargains and most times, it's a miss. The lines are long, again it's always a full house.
Last chance is a very unique shopping experience, it feels like a bargain hunt. It's not for everyone, but everyone should experience shopping here at least once, just make sure you give yourself plenty of time for the lines for the fitting room and to purchase.
It's definitely a treat if you hit on a good day!!

Tracking device found inside purchase
I am beyond disturbed by my experience with this store. Yesterday, I purchased several items, including a hair dryer. When I got home and inspected it, I discovered an Apple AirTag hidden inside the hair dryer. Finding a tracking device inside a product I just bought is absolutely terrifying and a massive violation of privacy. I called the store today to report this, but the staff I spoke with seemed like they did not care at all.
If you shop here, please thoroughly check every item and box before you take it home. The store's lack of concern is just as scary as finding the device itself. Please be careful.
Title: Great Inventory, But Management Needs a Serious Wake-Up Call on Basic Human Decency
Review:
I've been a loyal shopper at Last Chance (the Nordstrom/Nordstrom Rack outlet) for years, drawn in by the incredible selection of overstock and out-of-season items at unbeatable prices. The inventory is top-notch, and it's clear the store supports so many families—both employees and customers alike. As someone who spends around $100,000 annually here, I'm not just a regular; I'm invested in seeing this place thrive.
That's why it's so heartbreaking to write this. The staff on the floor are absolutely wonderful—every single one is kind, helpful, and a joy to interact with. I go out of my way to greet them with a smile, say good morning, and even hand out candy to brighten their days. But the managers? It's a completely different story.
I've experienced repeated maltreatment: belittling, badgering, glaring, and blatant favoritism. Just today, after making a significant purchase, every manager glared at me as I shopped—multiple fellow customers witnessed it and expressed their disgust. This isn't isolated; I've reported incidents to head manager Roxanna and director Greg multiple times, with zero change and not even an apology. Other loyal customers I've spoken to feel the same—targeted rudeness that makes you wonder how these leaders were hired and what example they're setting.
As a grown adult who's learned the hard way about treating people with respect (my father took his own life five years ago, teaching me to cherish every day and every interaction), this stings deeply. We all support this store with our hard-earned money, yet basic kindness seems optional for some in charge. It's disappointing to see such a gem of a store undermined by leadership that forgets: great customer service isn't just good business—it's what makes us human.
Last Chance has the potential to be exceptional. Please, for the sake of the amazing staff, the families you support, and customers like me who keep coming back—do better. We deserve it.
