- MKMarie KSep 14, 20253.0Dear JCPenney’s, you have such amazing deals on your website and then when I go to the store, the same deals are not there even though you have the same merchandise. I went to purchase three items and online. It was literally almost $10 less. I went up to pay and asked if they honor the online discounts and the associate said no. I said, no thank you I think I’m going to purchase it online right now and I’ll be back at 3 PM to pick it up. And you wonder why your sales have gone down in the past few years. Revamping a classic store was the first mistake that hasn't ended well for many stores. Every single story I’ve ever been to has honored the website discount if you actually physically have it in the store. There’s no reason why I should have to pay for an online and then come back and pick it up to get the discount. Hopefully you’ll adjust your system in some sort of way because it’s really sad to see a lot of our favorite stores that have been around for generations go downhill like this.
