Very reasonable prices for an art supply store and nice staff.

A great experience again today, 1/22/2026, at this location in Glendale just off the 101. Danny was immensely helpful in finding the Illustration Board I eventually went with. She answered over a dozen questions, demonstrating her wealth of knowledge across several art fields. I asked Oil, Sketching, Inking questions and she took them all in stride. Stephen the general manager was also very kind.

Accidentally purchased a spray paint that was not intended for my project. Check products carefully, I don't think Blick is aware of their items they offer. Had I been told it was graffiti paint, I would have grabbed something else.

this place is great! I loved the variety and how it was more focused on supplies like paints and markers rather than random crafts like Styrofoam and what not. they have a good selection of moleskin notebooks and sketchbooks.
they have a section where you can actually test the markers, I don't think I've ever seen this before but it made shopping so much easier. they carry Sakura which is my new favorite brand. they also carry posca paint markers, which I also like.
I thought the prices were pretty reasonable as well.
most of all, they had some kind of partnership for autism donations at the time I went. anything purchased by/under the checkout counter was donated to a child with autism, and customers get a discount coupon I believe. I hope they keep doing that!
I can't imagine going anywhere for my art supplies in the valley now because these are such simple things but they really made the experience and shop compelling to me.
