  I had a frustrating experience ordering from Vans. I placed an order early in the morning of 3/17/26 for items that were clearly listed as “in stock,” expecting a smooth and timely pickup process. Instead, I ran into unnecessary delays and poor communication. After not receiving any updates, I contacted the store directly and was told by an associate that online orders aren’t actually available until the store processes the payment themselves—which completely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. Even more concerning, the associate openly admitted they were too busy to process orders and that my items likely wouldn’t be ready until the next day. If the items are in stock and the order is placed, customers shouldn’t have to wait on store staff availability just to get what they already paid for. This process feels disorganized and misleading. Unfortunately, this experience has made me hesitant to order from Vans again.
