    I’ll start by saying I love dsw and shop here all of the time! I ordered cowboy boots online, and when I received them, they came in a random large unmarked box, and upon opening it, the boots were scuffed on both sides of the ankles and BOTH shoes and there was no shipping paper in it for protection. The bottoms were also scuffed and walked in. Obviously I wasn’t happy but it’s not a big deal to just return them. I went into the Santan location January 30th to return them and just let the employee at the counter know that they were used and I wanted a refund on it. She tried to scan the box to start the return after telling me that suede can wear that way in the box- wrong. She had to call a supervisor because the scan on the box didn’t match the receipt. When he came to the counter I informed him that I received it in that box the way I’m returning them but I could show another receipt. He responded with “I’m not arguing with you, I didn’t say anything.” This started off as a simple interaction and I wasn’t upset, but their communication with me was less than acceptable and extremely demeaning. She told him I’m returning it because I “didn’t like it anymore.” No- they were used, once again. They ended up coming up with a solution for the return and I left thankful. I wasn’t going to write a review until I saw my return receipt to where they listed my return as “changed mind.” Come on guys. Do better.

    IMO, always seems to be the same outdated shoes, except for very few. The prices sure have risen.

    Vert big and nice selection just not what I was looking for today. The shoe styles have changed and I was looking for something similar to what I had formal a few years ago. Definitely will be back to get sandals so many to choose from but I was in a mission today for a specific shoe

    Wanted to buy Nikes, they only had one shoe in a box when the salesperson went to get the other shoe they couldn't find it and one box had no shoes completely missing from the store. Their inventory is crap!!
