  01/02/2026 7:20pm. Robert and Hector at the Gun Counter. Robert was the employee at the gun counter. I waited at the gun counter and the dude completely ignored me, helped people who came after me, and when I finally asked for help he said “multiple others in line.” I came to buy a very expensive item and was about to walk out and go to AZGuns. The guns showed IN STOCK, but of course I came 40 minutes before close and, as expected, when I was finally helped Robert told me that the guns were on a box truck and not inventoried yet, and that I would have to go online to purchase. Hector then came up to me and showed me that the exact shotgun was sitting on the shelf when I asked to look at alternatives, because I called his bluff when he tried not to help me purchase a gun at 7:30. I told him two other people came in before me and they skipped me and helped them. He said they couldn't sell to me because they close at 8:00 and the background check takes 30 minutes. I called out Robert right there and he said it was a different model; I let him know it was the exact same model and price. I told Robert I would look for alternatives because I had a feeling he was giving me retail BS. That's when Hector came up, showed the exact gun, and gave me the same excuse that they couldn't sell to me. Other employees walked around without even looking at me while I stood at the counter. It felt like I was invisible. Perhaps I'll wear an orange vest next time to stand out! They completely ignored me and did not care about my business. As a retail employee, you should work past closing time if you have people waiting in line for over 30 minutes. No wonder they were ignoring me and giving me the runaround. This was my first time at a Sportsman's Warehouse, and it will be my last. If upper management can provide an email or number I can reach out to, I would greatly appreciate it. I was about to spend well over $1,000 on a shotgun and intended to buy much more as a new resident of Arizona. I read the reviews about the same poor employees and their lazy attitudes, but despite that I wanted to give the place a chance. The fact that three employees were mindlessly walking around and helping other people who arrived after me without even acknowledging or looking at me until the very end was ultimately frustrating.

  My son-in-law and I went there to check out their handguns and boy were we pleasantly surprised. Their prices are the best in town and the staff are friendly and helpful. I am definitely going back there for my gun needs.

  I found this location by mistake. Im glad they are in Chandler now. I knew what I wanted and they had it in stock. I love walking through to see what else I can use. Great place for your outdoor gear. Hunting, fishing or camping.

  Actually my my First Purchase from them over 20 years ago pair boots that are still wore when my son killed his first deer yesterdayand was a buyers club member back in the day. Just drives me nuts when you’re trying to get someone $3000 and you can’t do it. but it’s their problem. They will send you to another credit organization, then completely run your credit and demolish it after that. Idk I have amazing credit was just trying to make a purchase and split it into four payments. Don’t know what’s happened to this company they are crooks . !!!!!!!!! The company that I trusted, since I was a kid, I didn’t know someone trying to hit my credit score . Wouldn’t buy anything from them again ever
