Bought a $300 or $400 camping tent like 6 months ago planning on using it at this time of year, and now here I am opening it and testing it out at my house before bringing it straight to where I was gonna use it (3 hours away), just to find out that it has been used and doesn’t have the right amount of parts in it, it’s dirty everywhere, there is dirt inside of it, dog hair and small branches all over the sides, little rips everywhere, zipper barely works, i don’t think it’s possible that when this was returned the store even looked at it before putting it back on the shelf, keep in mind it was displayed as new on the shelf with the rest of them. I thought i was buying something that’s new. Since it has been so long and i probably don’t have my receipt they probably won’t do anything about it. I never leave reviews but this just really blew my mind for something costing a few hundred dollars.

Thank you to the wonderful team members at Scheels! Jake helped to make my daughter’s birthday 🎉 experience special. We received the royal treatment with a ride on the Ferris wheel 🎡, complimentary ice cream 🍨 , and video game 🎮 free play. We are incredibly grateful for this pleasant surprise 😮 and we will keep Scheels in mind for future birthdays! Thanks again and the team members @Scheels!

I've been to many Scheels throughout the midwest and my first time in the Chandler store was no different -- customer service is ALWAYS amazing. There were lines to get in at 11:00am when they opened and I feel like at least half of those people descended on the shoe section. I must've tried on 13 pairs of shoes. The salespeople in the department ran around fetching people shoes without the slightest complaint, they were totally accomodating and super helpful. They worked great as a team and I was there to see firsthand how a couple of the customers were very demanding and it was all handled very professionally and with a smile. You guys and gals are great.

Our visit to Scheels today left us very disappointed. After shopping for our son’s winter boots, we let him ride the Ferris wheel. We watched the family before us (and others) receive three full rotations after being loaded. When it was our turn, we got one. No explanation.
When we asked, the operator couldn’t remember and acted like he didn’t believe us. Another employee said the rule was “one rotation after loading,” which clearly wasn’t followed for anyone else. What’s worse, we were the only Asian family in line, and the unequal treatment was very noticeable.
We don’t jump to conclusions, but inconsistency like this makes families feel unwelcome. If there are policies, follow them. If not, don’t treat some families differently than others. This ride was $3 for the three of us, but the experience left a much bigger disappointment.

I was next in line. One of the “customer service agents” told me to move to the customer service line for my convenience and put me in a line behind a couple families. I’m now in a longer line. Thanks.
Now I’m waiting in a new line, watching the people who were behind me now standing in front of me, and the people who were behind them now checking out in the original lane I was in.
You’re paying extra at scheels so some undertrained employee can poorly manage the lines and make you wait longer.
Too many corporate options to wait in multiple lines and more in scheels.
