- ESEdward SlyeDec 17, 20251.0Received a gold Movado watch for my retirement it cost $1000, April 2023. I only wear the watch when going out, it stayed in the box most of the time. A couple months ago it stopped, I took it to a jewler to replace the battery. It started working but wasn't working correctly. I took it to Macy's where it was purchased, they sent it to Movado for estimate to repair. The estimate came back at $816! A little over 2 years old, worn very little and it is that much to repair, are you kidding me! Terrible product and service, if this is any indication I will never buy a Movado product ever.
