He was able to help my son and I locate an archery glove by not only going above and beyond to size him, but he took the time to educate on the best gloves to use. There were several options, so I made the trip only to get there and be told they don't have any 500 S&W ammo and as far as he can remember they never have carried it. I really feel this is a dishonest business practice trying to lure people in showing them something you don't have in stock.

Not only did he help me make the right purchase, he then helped my son with all his questions regarding his bow. He is a huge asset to this location and we are extremely lucky to have him there to help.

So, I decided to randomly call the The Pro Bass Shop in Little Rock, Arkansas, and was fortunate enough to speak to Mitchell. He essentially answered all my questions regarding the purchase that I made for my son, who decided he wanted to pick up fly fishing. He confirmed that I made a good purchase and then had some extra pointers about fly fishing and recommended coming up to Little Rock to fish one day. Mitchell was very personable and professional, and very patient, answering all the questions of which I had many. It was a very enjoyable experience. There should be more Mitchells at Bass Pro Shops, in Retail and in Life.
- GGGDSTUFF78Dec 15, 20251.0I'm done with Bass Pro shops. I can't believe what just happened. My mother has dementia and lost the receipts from her Christmas shopping. She bought everyone the wrong size Carhartt hoodies. They fit a little to big anyway. So today went and took the shirts with the tags still on to this store. They told us they couldn't help us without the receipts even though they scanned correctly at the register. We only wanted to change the sizes. They said no. That they don't do that at Christmas. I then went to the Bass pro website and it states that they will do an exchange or gift card without receipts. So I went back to customer service and told them what their website stated and that I would like to talk to a manager about it. When the manager came over I explained what their website said. She said that that doesn't apply to Carhart, because it's not their brand and there's nothing they could do. I can't believe this. I will tell this story to everyone I know. What are we supposed to do with $50 shirts that don't fit. This is not customer service. Again they still have all the stickers and tags from Bass pro.
