- ARAlexis RoweNov 16, 20251.0I used to absolutely love this store. Was a must for back to school shopping! But within the last year or two it has been a mess. It’s not the stores fault but the company’s on pricing. Belks used to be affordable and decent quality. Now it’s the same quality but ridiculous prices. Then the store’s look is all around messy. Clothes racks in the middle of the walk way, dark around the store except the middle, carpets look unclean. There is only ever 2 registers open at one time. Not a big fan of the store anymore and I do my best not to stop by. Tried to give it another shot today but it was worse than when I came 6 months ago. Will try again in awhile to see if my (past) favorite store improves!
