I had the most incredible experience at the Belk in the Malbis Mall, all thanks to Candace in the Ladies Department. She is, without question, an absolute gem of a human being and a shining star in customer service — the kind of team member you rarely encounter anymore. I walked in 30 minutes before closing (every salesperson’s nightmare, I’m sure) desperately trying to find an evening gown for an event the very next day. Instead of frustration or stress, I was met with warmth, kindness, and the most genuine patience I’ve seen in retail in years. Candace never once made me feel rushed. Not once did she glance at the clock. Not once did she act like I was an inconvenience. Instead, she jumped right in like a trusted friend or professional stylist — carefully selecting dresses, zipping up zippers, helping me compare styles, giving thoughtful feedback, and doing it all with grace, sincerity, and the sweetest attitude you can imagine. Her kindness wasn’t just good — it was exceptional. Her professionalism wasn’t just evident — it was above and beyond. She made what should have been a stressful, last-minute scramble feel easy, enjoyable, and even fun. People like Candace are rare these days. She is the kind of employee every business wishes they had — someone who cares deeply, treats people with respect, and makes customers feel valued and welcome. She is truly an asset to Belk, the type of team member who elevates the entire store. Belk, if you’re reading this: Do everything you can to keep this woman. She is a treasure.   Pricey, pricey! If it's not on clearance, I don't even look at it. Sometimes you can get a good shoe deal here. Their women's swimsuits prices are ridiculous.
