    I brought my boat in on February 28 for a routine annual service along with a warranty inspection for non-functioning navigation lights. What should have been a straightforward and timely repair turned into a highly frustrating experience, as my boat was not returned until April 3. Throughout this extended delay, I was informed that the holdup was due to waiting on a replacement part for the navigation issue. However, upon receiving my boat, I discovered that instead of completing a proper repair, the decision had been made to avoid replacing the board due to cost. Instead, a fix was applied by bending a pin back into place. This was done without any communication or approval from me. Possibly a point of failure later on after the warranty expires. Even more concerning was the lack of transparency and accountability. At no point was I informed of this decision, nor was any effort made to offer compensation or even a courtesy discount on the annual service—despite my boat being held for over a month. As a customer who has invested a significant amount into purchasing and maintaining a boat through Bass Pro Shops, I expect a higher level of professionalism, communication, and respect for both my time and money. Losing access to my boat for an extended period, especially without a proper resolution, is unacceptable. Overall, this experience has been extremely disappointing and has significantly impacted my trust in the service department.

    According to the cashier at the Spanish Fort AL store, they now REQUIRE that you give a phone number before they will give you a reciept for a purchase.... even if you pay cash! I bought a reel there yesterday..... and when I declined to give my phone number, the cashier and another employee got really snippy and refused to give me a reciept. SO, I left and will never return.

    We love this store! We were asked many times if we needed help. We were able to find all we needed and checking out was a breeze with Inez! She was very friendly and helpful! A great asset to the store !

    Walked in to buy an optic for my pistol. Not only did the website list that they had it, they did not. But there were four employees standing around. I walked back and forth in front of the gun case with my family at least four times. Each eye contact with the employees was diverted and ignored. Only one employee was actually helping a customer the rest were trying to look busy. I’ll take my $400+ elsewhere.

    Asked for assistance locating something their website said they had in stock and was refused. The employee I asked was sitting down looking at his phone. He didn't answer. The guy sitting next to him interrupted and without looking at me, told me I'd have to wait because they were the only 2 there! I asked another employee in the hunting clothing area if he could help and he told me no, I'd have to ask the other guys, while turning his back to me. Apparently you need an appointment before they'll make eye contact or treat you like a customer. Lazy and inexcusable. Not me!
