She asked if we were looking for anything in particular with a rushed tone and then proceeded to tell my daughter she couldn’t drink anything inside her store. She had a cup with a lid and a straw. We were not even there 1 min. and it is 98 degrees out. We wore our face masks and I am a nurse. Neither me nor my daughter were within 10 ft of her and there were no other customers in the store. The AL state law states that children age 6 and under are not required to wear a mask. You are also able to remove it to take a sip of water. She stated that they do not serve drinks, although drinks are allowed in the store.
