WORST EXPERIENCE YET. Just when I thought this 1st experience downstairs was bad, the 2nd one upstairs was just as bad 1). The escalator going upstairs was down, so I asked the older lady where the elevator was and her reply as she looked me dead In my face was “You can just walk up the stairs” I said mam, NO I CANT JUST WALK UP THE STAIRS seeing as I just had major ankle surgery and I have a cast on and can’t walk up the steps! She looked at a woman who was walking up to her register and said to the lady “ I didn’t even look closely at her enough to see that she couldn’t walk up the stairs” She never apologized to me nor even said anything to me except “ it’s around the corner” ok well yeah that was helpful. NOT and she just displayed my business to some stranger that was at her register. Instead of just being kind and telling me where the elevator actually was and apologizing for being so rude and unhelpful. All I wanted was to make it up to the upper floor to get what I had come for. She was very very RUDE. 2nd floor 2 Indian ladies were gossiping and I asked where a certain type of sheets were so I wouldn’t have to walk all over the place bc of my leg. They acted as if I and another lady (she was looking for towels) bothered them and interrupted their conversation. They were VERY rude and no help either. One Said “I don’t know look around” the other nothing. They just went back talking and ignored me. umm ok..mind you I had them pulled up on my phone from Jcpennys website and tried to show them the sheets. No luck. IGNORED. DOWNHILL they have gone and everyone wonders why they don’t have the customers like they use to have. TREAT PEOPLE BETTER AND ORGANIZE BETTER.

I normally don’t write negative reviews, but my experience at the Galleria JCPenney was honestly shocking. I went in to make a simple return. The first associate told me she couldn’t process an online return at her register, so I moved over and got in line at the other register. While waiting, another associate abruptly yelled at me and two elderly women in line, pointing and saying “THE LINE STARTS THERE,” referring to a pole that was maybe one foot behind where we were standing. The tone was completely unnecessary and very rude. While helping the customer in front of me, she then realized she didn’t have enough cash in her register to make change. Instead of calling for assistance or counting down her drawer properly, she pulled money out of her own personal wallet to give the customer change. The whole situation took about ten minutes and was very awkward to watch. After that, when I stepped forward, she snapped at me to “BACK UP” because she was “NOT ready yet.” At that point I politely told her that the way she was speaking to customers was very rude. Rather than addressing it, she simply pushed me off to another associate. I worked in retail for over five years, and behavior like that toward customers would have gotten me written up or fired immediately. Basic professionalism and respect should not be too much to expect. Sadly, this interaction just reinforced the overall condition of this store. The Galleria JCPenney has increasingly felt disorganized and poorly managed every time I visit. After this experience, I won’t be returning.

Changing my rating because nobody answers the phone and I brought my broken necklace in to get fixed three week ago. I have been trying to call the store for hours and not a single one of the departments answer. Also they harass you about leaving a review before you get to leave

This is a great store. Large selection of men's, women's and children's clothing. I grew up in the '70s shopping with my mom at JCPenney's. This store is laid out like a clothing store should be. Jeans are with jeans, khaki pants are with khaki pants, and shirts are with shirts. They also have a great selection of men's suits and sportswear. Not a jumbled up mess like a lot of the new clothing stores these days.
