  I had a great experience at Academy Sports + Outdoors. I recently purchased a handgun, and the process was smooth from start to finish. The guy working the counter was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions without rushing. He made sure I understood everything and helped make the buying process simple and straightforward. The store had a solid selection, fair pricing, and overall great customer service. I’ll definitely be back for future purchases.

  I bought a bike for my son today 3 April 26 at 1437 hrs that costed me 247$. The guy in the back shop refused to put the seat pad on it. He said he should not set it up. Such these bad people shouldn't work for Academy store because that will make the customers not happy. If he doesn't facilitate the costumers or can't do a favor for them he should be replaced with a helpful person.

  Great store with a lot of selection for hunting fishing and clothing and youth sports. Really close to some great restaurants, Jim and Nicks and some other new restaurants.

  Being fairly new to the area and just finding more places I like to visit all the time, Academy Sports & Outdoor is a great one. This past holiday season, my son and wife wanted their own Pistols for the shooting range. I checked around a few places and after stopping by here and talking to a couple of the guys in the Gun Dept., I decided this was the place to purchase. They were super knowledgeable and knew what they were talking about. I told who I was purchased and gifting these to and they steered me away from certain brands that didn't have the greatest reviews and I wound up getting two Pistols that my Wife & Son love shooting. This is going to be my go to place if, who am I kidding when I need to purchase anything else.

  I purchased a firearm a couple of weeks ago in D'liberville, MS and the customer service was phenomenal. Dothan store, not so much. The gun department employee's just don't seem to give a crap. I ordered it online so they really didn't have to work for a sale or show me anything. Just get me the paperwork. Last week I was in the store to buy ammo. One of the employees was stocking the shelves and would'nt move so I could access what i was trying to get. He most certainly didn't ask if I needed help. I left and bought it somewhere else.
