I stopped into Bass Pro Shops in Rocky View County after my rifle had a catastrophic barrel failure, I wasn’t even planning to buy that day, just looking. After browsing for a bit, I asked for help, and up came Hank. What followed was honestly one of the best customer experiences I’ve ever had. Hank spent nearly two hours talking with me about rifles, scopes, bullet grains, and shooting fundamentals. The amount of knowledge and passion this man has is incredible. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood what would fit my needs best. Thanks to Hank, I walked out with a Browning AB3 Composite Stalker Bolt-Action Rifle paired with a Leupold VX-Freedom Scope, and I couldn’t be happier. But more than that, I walked out smarter and more confident as a shooter. A big shoutout as well to Joel, who helped me understand my new scope setup and offered great tips for using it. Bass Pro, you need more people like Hank and Joel. Their passion and customer service are unmatched. I’ll definitely be back, even just to talk rifles and ammo again!
