    Awful experience. Was told I had until the end of January for returns. They did exchange them but were abrasive and gave us a set that had clearly been worn and returned as well.

    "Had an exceptional experience at the DSW, thanks entirely to Muskan. We arrived near closing time, but you would never have known it from her welcoming and positive attitude. She greeted us with a genuine smile and provided her full, attentive assistance without any rush. Muskan actively listened to my shoe query, asked great questions, and was incredibly helpful in navigating size selection. Her dedication to customer service, even at the end of her shift, is a rare and wonderful quality that truly sets her apart. Thank you, Muskan, for going above and beyond!"

    I am writing to express my concern regarding today’s experience at this DSW location, which reflects a noticeable decline in the quality of customer service and management. While this store offers a wide selection of shoes and handbags, the manner in which returns are handled, particularly by management, warrants serious review. For this reason, I have assigned a one-star rating. At the time of purchase (my husband and I purchased three pairs of shoes in total for an upcoming wedding), I raised a concern with the cashier about the soles of a pair of shoes appearing worn and asked whether the shoes may have been previously returned. The cashier consulted the manager on duty, who was highly offended by our question and assured us the shoes were new and that the markings resulted from customers trying them on instore. As no additional pair in my size was available for a swap and the shoes matched the handbag I was purchasing for the wedding, I proceeded with the purchase despite my reservations. I wore the shoes only once, for the wedding, and they failed structurally. When I returned them and explained the issue, the cashier requested assistance from a colleague, who was unable to process the return and escalated the matter to the store manager, Dionis. Upon inspection, Dionis acknowledged that the shoes were of poor quality but stated that he did not believe they had been worn only once and indicated that a refund would be denied if I continued to assert that they were. I reiterated that the shoes had been worn only once by me and already showed scuff marks at the time of purchase. Unfortunately, instead of focusing on the evident product failure, the interaction became centered on disputing my account, resulting in an uncomfortable and unnecessary exchange in which my honesty was questioned. The refund was ultimately processed only after my husband intervened by stating that “Dionis was right in his assumption and I (his wife) was also right in my assumption,” so as to get the refund process moving. This experience was unexpected and disappointing, particularly for a straightforward return involving defective merchandise. Given that similar concerns appear in other customer reviews, I respectfully urge DSW management to review and improve how store managers are trained to handle returns and customer interactions/concerns. Until there is a clear improvement, I will be avoiding this particular location in the future.

    Customer Service at its best. Diya is exceptional personal and has the quality of serving her customers to the best of her ability. We had bought UGG shoes for my daughter on December 13th , 2025 and on the boxing day when I was browsing the store for deals, I saw the same shoes and could gauge the price drop and the additional 20% discount tag. I reached out to one of the store associates and her response was that two weeks have passed and we cannot do anything, completely wrong. We saw Diya and spoke about the same and asked if we could do the price match, she asked us all the relevant questions and asked her to follow to the cash register. She took my phone number, printed the receipt as we were not carrying with us, looked at the price difference and did the price match for us. Diya is an exceptional Customer focused personal and wish her all the very success in her career and with the mindset she has she would do wonders for the store DSW. Thanks Diya, you made our day and will be trying to instill the same where I work.
