  I had a very disappointing experience with the store manager, Alex. He was rude, unwelcoming. I originally purchased Gucci glasses from the West Edmonton location, where I received a $50 discount on my $500 purchase as part of a deal. Later, I visited the Leduc location to exchange the glasses, and Alex refused to honor the same $50 discount. I didn’t want to argue at the time since I just wanted to complete the exchange. However, when I returned to pick up my glasses, I was assisted by Meghan, who was extremely kind and professional. After I explained the situation, she acknowledged that the discount should have been applied and refunded me the $50 without any issue. When I previously questioned Alex about the inconsistency, he responded rudely, saying that the West Edmonton staff were “not his employees” and that he didn’t know what they did, but he would not honor the discount. This response was unprofessional and dismissive. Overall, I appreciate Meghan’s excellent customer service, but my experience with Alex was very negative and left a bad impression.

  I had a fantastic experience at Sunglass Hut thanks to Akbar. He was incredibly patient and helpful while I was trying to find the perfect pair. He has a great eye for what frames suit different face shapes and provided excellent styling advice without being pushy. If you're looking for a new pair of shades, definitely ask for Akbar!
