We went for an in store pick up that was already paid for followed the line sectionals that said “ in store pick up” waited 20 minutes to be told we were in the wrong spot. And when we brought it up to the lady running the in store pick up at the back once we found it. We got “ mmm” not a sorry I’ll bring that up to a manager or I’m sorry for your inconvenience. Just “ mmm” super frustrating. Please consider making more signage or put it in the pick up email saying where to go.

We love coming to Cabela’s every year for Santa photos. The setup is always amazing, and the staff are friendly, patient, and great with kids. It’s become one of our favourite holiday traditions. Highly recommend!

Have spent hundreds of dollars at Bass Pro Canada and U.S. Today was my first ever return item. Had soiling on one carry all bag of three I had purchased, when I went to return it clerk said it looked like ketchup? staining. Many eye rolls later she gave me a refund she called defective and verbally said the same to other staff. When I went to replace with the same item, more evidence that I wasn’t trying to get a general credit the same staff member said she couldn’t honour an exchange, wanted me to pay current price which was $10 more. Should have checked name plate. On my way out I saw an elder employee by door who I thought might be a manager, he had an ear bud and mic engaged throughout interaction, said he was not a manager but gun control person?

Great store, but none of the sale items are ever posted at the sale price. Makes them somewhat difficult to find in such a large store.

Don't order from the online store.
I ordered a ice fishing tent for pickup from the west end location. Was waiting for the email to come and pick it up in-store. It was supposed to be same day pickup but I understand that sometimes it's busy. Was in the area for unrelated shopping, and I went in to see if the tent was ready for pickup. I've been charged for this tent already.
I go in and they say that there is no stock left of the item that I've already paid for (online it still says there's 2). What would've happened if I didn't go in? They obviously didn't feel the need to tell me online.
So I'm told I need to buy another tent - same tent different color - which I don't care about the color. So now I'm out 800 total, 400 for the second tent. They haven't cancelled the original online order yet so I'm out 400 dollars.
I also had a similar problem with the 5cv fish finder on sale. Bought it online when it said there was stock, only for the order to get cancelled. Still says it's in stock as well.
Thanks Bass Pro!
