  I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered at this Alo location. I came in to do a simple size exchange for an item I received as a gift. I even had the receipt and proof of purchase, but the store manager refused to help. She told me that the receipt was not proof of purchase and that only the original payment method counts — which makes no sense, especially for a gift. Instead of helping, she kept smirking at me and told me to “call customer service and return it online,” even though I clearly explained that I couldn’t do that because it was a gift and the person who bought it is out of the country. I suggested using a gift card or store credit to process a straight exchange, and she told me I couldn’t use either in-store — again, something that contradicts normal retail practice. When I finally gave up and said I’d just return it to the original form of payment, she suddenly refused to process the return and told me, word for word: “I refuse to do any service for you in this store since you are accusing me of being racist. You need to get out of this store.” I never yelled, never caused a scene, and only pointed out that her behavior — the smirking, dismissive attitude, and the way she was speaking to me — felt discriminatory. I’ve never encountered a manager so unprofessional, rude, dismissive, and yes — racist. For a brand like Alo, this is unacceptable. I hope corporate sees this, because no customer should ever be treated this way, especially when they have a receipt and are simply trying to exchange an item. Alo Yoga’s publicly stated mission emphasizes “supporting customers with integrity, respect, and premium service.” As a customer, I came in trusting that commitment and expected a straightforward exchange — but instead I was met with dismissal and refusal of service. This is a clear mismatch between what Alo claims to stand for and how this location actually behaves toward its customers.

  I had such a great experience at Alo thanks to the worker who helped me. She was so joyful, kind, and incredibly helpful the whole time. She made sure I found exactly what I needed and made the shopping experience so easy and enjoyable. Alo is lucky to have her!

  Bought a pant from.Alo a year ago and barely wore or wash it and the material is like so bad now that I regret even getting it as I thought the quality was comparable to Lululemon but it turns out to be expensive and very low quality meanwhile the lulu pant I have had for years is stil looking brand new. Never again for me

  I purchased 2 items online during a sale for husband which unfortunately did not fit him. I called the store and asked the Sales Associate if I could exchange one item for a smaller size and a different color. The Sales Associate said no problem. However, when I went to the store a few days later, I was told by another Sales Associate that I could not get an exchange for a different color. This company should have honored the exchange as promised to me on the phone. As a result, I got a refund and took my business elsewhere. Don't waste your time with this company.
